Here's the NWN2: Mysteries of Westgate intro from the upcoming adventure pack that will be available as a paid download from Atari.
Created by Atari and some of the most prominent members of the Neverwinter Nights 2 communities, Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate provides hours of additional entertainment with all new engrossing storylines, professional voice acting, enchanting musical scores, new in-game content, and much more. Set in the infamous Forgotten Realms city of Westgate, players find themselves in possession of a powerful but cursed treasure that threatens to destroy them. Linked to the underworld organization known as the Night Masks, the treasure will draw players into a city-spanning clash between warring factions.
Players must choose their allegiance in order to break the curse and ultimately uncover a plot that threatens Westgate itself. From the creators of the critically-acclaimed Neverwinter Nights module, Darkness over Daggerford, Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate will feature a non-linear, open-ended single-player campaign with numerous side quests covering more than 15 hours of game play. Ataris new Adventure Pack will also feature 3 new companions; an entirely new underground sewers tile set themed after the seedy underbelly of Westgate; a host of new monsters to do battle with, including some truly epic foes; an exciting new and original musical score; as well as thousands of new lines of professionally recorded dialogue.

Not bad. Personally I think the voice actors of the sailors could have been far better. Also why no wake on the ship as it cuts the water? The sea serpents look great and are a great touch, enough eye candy in them to peak my interest. All in all a well put together movie, just not eye popping. unfortunately I think the mod is likely to be far better than movie and the voice acting here indicate. I love the glimpse you get of Westgate's harbor though, very ambient of the city's character, especially with a murder on the dock as you pull in and the ogre in the background lumbering toward the dock, both very nice touches.

I'm really looking forward to MoW.. I have lots of faith in the people who are behind it's creating to create great games and great game experiences. But sorry, have to say, this movie just sucked. Horribly choppy animation and voice acting / dialogue that makes Dungeon Siege look good..

Looking forward to playing the module! Thanks for your hard work in creating it.

Thought the video was pretty good. The voice acting was ok though. Thought it worth around a 7.25 so that's my vote. _________________________ Website: Link

And on what basis do you judge this little "gem" to be "a masterpiece, genuinely groundbreaking"? Please enlighten us.

Well well. What's more annoying that a little clown telling people stuff isn't reviewable (criteria?) and then throwing a 10 to "make up" for other peoples' votes? Please tell us, sir mighty pants, on what basis our votes aren't legitimate?
You should apologize right now or else accept your identity as a very ugly troll.

This shouldn't even be reviewable - how can you score a trailer? Are people who haven't downloaded it supposed to use the score to determine if they should watch a 2-minute movie?
I'll throw in a 10, since after hearing about the supposedly negative response, there's nothing wrong at all with the silly thing.
If you've so much time to waste that you actually got bombarded by hype (ie. scouring the internet for every last drop), that's your own fault. Maybe pick up knitting, or something.
For the people that are prognosticating features of a mod other than "it has sea monsters" and "the voice acting is professional-quality, thank god", they also should probably take up knitting, and maybe some anti-anxiety medicine.

Nice. Seamonster looks good. More Information on Westgate would have been good in order to arouse players´ interest in the city/the dragon coast setting.
This is the first real look I've taken at the project, so this is a more-or-less 'raw' reaction:
Good VA, but the wording of the script seems a bit clunky. I hope the in-game dialog flows better that the narration does... oh, and "Captain, Westgate has been sighted!"? That doesn't sound very sailor-like. :/
As for appearance and content... well, we don't really see all that much in-game footage here. _________________________ Nemo non Morior Anime Overviews MP3 Player Playlist

Hum. This trailer does seem a little weak compared with all the hype that USED TO surround MoW. (Not that I looked at any of the previews to spoil the story...) And, come on, not another "cursed something" storyline! I hope it doesn't affect too much the gameplay...
Still, nice to see that they did release something...

For a free, non-commercial mod this trailer would be incredible. But for the backing and hype MoW has received it leaves quite a bit to be desired.
Also is it just me or is that guy kind of creepy? Not creepy in the dark, brooding sense, but in the pedophile vibe kind of way.

Sets the stage nicely enough, and I quite like the whole narrator talking over nice artwork direction. Gives it a nice old-school feel.
The in-game cutscenes makes use of the NWN2 engine nicely, and the ambience of the sounds is superb.
It does its job well enough, makes me want to play the game.

It's a bit short :) Music's nice, voice is OK. Ship model could do with some surf/furrowed water animations when it moves. Not sure what exactly is going on in Westgate :) _________________________ NWN2: Big Font/High Res GUI // Extra Spell Swapping // NWN1: Colourised Scrolls // Both: Reviews and more
