This command-line tool will allow you to manipulate models by rotating them around the X and Y axes - creating tilted, slanted or even upside-down versions.
The example picture shows a two rowboats - the original one and a tilted one which might be suitable as a beached boat.
Version 1.1 adds the ability to "flip" models as well.
Version 1.2 added the ability to "move" models.
Version 1.3 added the ability to scale models (tiles) along the Z axis.
Version 1.4 added string replacement ability (for block and texture names). This is useful if you need to duplicate a tileset for example, and want to ensure that everything is renamed properly.

This is extremely useful. Saves a TON of time when working with models, since you can cut out the need to import and export things for simple resizing projects.
Thanks Adinos!
Maybe in the future, someone can write up a GUI for this.

Nice, but command line tools just aren't very user friendly.

Seems like this could be quite useful. However I have no idea how to use it, even looking at the ReadMe. Please include an "Idiot's Guide" to using this, even how a Command-line program works, I've never used such a thing before.

Perfect little tool, and so very useful.

Hmmm, some better instructions for us noobs would be awesome. I'm not sure how to use this.

The potential with a tool like this is outstanding. I'm going to get a ton of mileage out of this.

It's a very useful tool but I've a problem here !
Because of the restriction on the string length, I can't rename a w_lsword40 into a w_lsword200.
I can't change a Rapr into a lsword neither.
Any idea of how to proceed ? _________________________ Extended Voiceset pack Alternative Music Pack Aleph Icon pack

8 - Excellent, recomended to anyone.
This tool, when it's needed, is invaluable as there is no easy way to do what it does. If anyone needs to make minor edits to .mdb files, this is the way to do it. Now that I know about this there are plenty of things I intend to rotate.

Very useful tool.

Was just redling this and noticed the goofball vote. Here's a 10, Adinos, shoulda done this a while back on all your stuff.
Autoxtacy: Please get familiar with what "command-line tool" means, before you rush off and vote on something you don't understand.
Hera: Good point, but the thing is that sometimes people might want to modify an existing model, and sometimes they want a modified copy - the tool cannot determine that. Besides - the program allows you to specify a set of files, like "*.MDB" - If I had it place the resulting file in something like *.MD2, people would just have to rename the files later. If you want a modified copy of an original, it is easy to just copy it to a different directory. Anyhow - the behaviour of the program will not change.

I downloaded and double clicked the program. All it does is pop up real fast and disappear. Having a very thorough readme would be a great start.
Cool idea, but I don't like the fact it alters the original mdb file. If you could get it to make a new mdb file then it would be perfect. So in the meantime I'll hold off on using this. _________________________ Here is my link to my Hall of Fame nude files. :) Enjoy. Link
