This is Aokis' Tree Randomizer plugin
Link I've recompiled it for the 1.03 patch, as well as added an option to reset tree scaling. If you don't like the scales that have been generated, enter 1 in each box, and it will reset the scale of all trees.
Not sure if/when I'll be able to update this, as none of my current players wish to move to NWN2, thus I'll be concentrating more on NWN1. Here's the source that I decompiled from Aokis, it might make a good base for someone, or at the very least, you can recompile it when a new patch comes out.
Thank you to the folks who have maintained this. I'm glad it's a useful tool even so many years after I originally wrote it. _________________________ Aokis

Thanks SPORAXIS, your link worked excellently, I overwrote the Randomize Trees file in my NWN2 Plugins folder (in C:programms) and voilà, the randomize trees tool works again, changing height and breadth of the trees randomly without moving the trees around. Awesome tool for any builder. _________________________ Loudwater / KOW / Khalidine

Any word on a 1.12 update? Ovocean, if VcD is no longer around, would you be interested in taking this over?

Agreed. This is a very useful plug-in. More people should be using it, as it works well and saves a lot of time. Thanks for the continued updates!

I'm using that one too, so I'd really be happy if you keep on updating. :) _________________________ German NWN1/2 persistent world: Hochwaldallianz

No, please, this plugin does exactly what I need. The others that I've checked place the trees where it wants, or doesn't resize, like tree cutter.
Thank you for your continued efforts.

Eh, nevermind. It takes into account the number of types of trees.

Why did you force minimum of 8 random seeds? I thought 5 was the desired max.

The latest update seems good. The download is a single .dll file. Tried it in TS, worked fine. The evergreens are hard to do. Most random seeds make them too tall, but that's from the random seed of TS, not the plugin.
However, as a previous posted wrote, it would be nice to have a function where you can click the trees you want randomized.
I'll look into it and see what I get. _________________________ Come with me...

This worked nicely for me with a small number of trees, but when I do a whole lot, every tree after the 6th gets the same seed, rather than them being alternated or mixed up. Am I doing something wrong? _________________________ Charlie's UI | Charlie's Item Modifier | Charlie's Starter Scripts
