With the Masamune in hand, Sephiroth can easily dish out around 50 damage, and over 100 with a critical.

Description
This is as close to the real deal as I could get. His armor and sword have been customized to make him seem more like the original Sephiroth. The head is pretty on, except for the short hair. He's a pretty powerful warrior, but you'll need to stock up on more heal potions. (P.S. I've fixed his inventory. He no longer has those useless items, and now he has his famous black cape. Also, if you want an awesome Sephy portrait, do a portrait search with the words "Sephiroth" and "Bane". There should be one with those words in his name that is verrry good, it's what I'm using.)
ThanatosRules got it right. Cookie for you. _________________________ BEEP!
Hey, this is Angel of Nessus. Not at the (COMMUNICATION DEVICE) right now; leave a message and go away. I probably won't answer, but I'll let you think I just didn't get the message. Oh, and if you're who I think you are, I have three things to say to you:
1. <I didn't do it>,
2. <Nobody saw me do it>, and
3. <You can't prove anything>.
You can leave a name or number, but like I said it probably won't do much good.
You can go now.
BEEP!

Ooh, so close! Sephiroth wants to destroy the planet and EVERYTHING on it, then merge with the power of the Lifestream that will inevitably erupt from the planet's core in an attemp to heal the grievous wound so that he can become a god. Also, he did not summon the Weapons, the planet woke them from their slumber to stop him. You see, the Weapons were created by the planet as a defense mechanism when it is in danger. (This is the main reason why Sephiroth created the barrier over Norther Cave) Also, there are five Weapons (Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Ultimate) He doesn't TRY to create Meteor, he DOES. It's the basis of his whole plan. Lastly, he does not appear as the Angel of Death, he appears as a Seraphim. During that fight, the song "One-Winged Angel" plays, quite possibly the best FF song ever. I've looked for that song on the vault, but couldn't find it. Other than that, everything was right. But if people want to know the whole, detailed plot of FF7, look it up on Wikipedia. _________________________ Flogging will continue until morale improves!

Sephiroth was the first of a new breed of human superclones created using Monster DNA and Mako energy, which powers magic used by all spellcasters of a single world. He went berserk when he found out his real origin, and wiped out the hero's hometown for no good reason. The most I can make out is that he wishes to wipe out ALL humans who are incapable of using magic (sound familiar?) and that only the other Super-SOLDIERS would survive.
In the end, Sephiroth becomes a LOT like the main villain Heurodis from Shadows of Undrentide. He awakens several powerful monsters, the four WEAPONS, from deep slumber and commands them to attack the world. Then he descends into the very core of the planet in hopes of becoming one with the so-called "Soul of the World" (Heurodis again! BioWare may have even modeled her after Sephy! ;D) He even tries to conjure up a giant meteor and crash it into the planet in the final third of the game.
Sephiroth is eventually defeated of course. Cloud and his friends pay a little visit to him in his underground lair and interrupt his meditations, prompting a fight against a hideous godlike creature. When Sephiroth dies, he respawns in avatar form as the Angel of Death (based on the final boss of Final Fantasy 6, who ALSO has sort of a "god" complex). After this defeat, he tries to reincarnate AGAIN from inside of Cloud's mind, but the hero defeats him one-on-one.
Whew! Not easy summarizing the villain of Final Fantasy 7 in one post. To anyone reading this, if you HAVEN'T played FF7 before, you should do so. Many fans believe it to be Squaresoft's best game.

I'd just like to point out that, judging from the very low ratings and comments about "useless Sephiroths" that have been given to other versions of this character, mine is probably your best bet, since it has all the awesomeness of Sephy and is still actually playable, even without the CEP (unlike most other versions). _________________________ Flogging will continue until morale improves!

Irenicus was cool, but Melissan was the real powerhouse of that series. Never could beat her without cheat codes. _________________________ Flogging will continue until morale improves!

Good Job, I can see FFVII is still alive, even in other games. True, Sephiroth IS the most kick-ass villain (next to Irenicus). Maybe you should do Cloud next?
P.S check out my character, it should be posted soon!

If you have no idea who Sephiroth is, you probably wouldn't bother checking this out, but point taken. Sephiroth is the most kick-ass villain ever, found in Final Fantasy VII. Google it. _________________________ Flogging will continue until morale improves!
Might want to give a background for the people who have no idea who Sephiroth is. _________________________ Link

I don't really like the voice for this character, or the red glow on the Masamune, but other than that it's all good. _________________________ Flogging will continue until morale improves!
