This is my ver. of Caramon Majere from the Dragonlance Saga. He represents Caramon after he is sent back in time and is forced to fight as a gladiator. I gave him 5 lvls of Barbarian b/c I always pictured him going into a rage during battle and it helped with his quickness in battle too. I would like any feedback I could get from my fellow Dragonlance fans, so please let me know how I did and what (if any) changes you think I should make. BLAZE_007

Well Blaze you did it again. First Raistlin now his twin. Good work. Just some quick comments, Raistlin wanted me to make. He stands in the corner of my room leaning on the Staff of Magius as I type this. To comment on this, " You suck" Caramon was 29. Just because he went back in time, " Before the Cataclysm" did not effect his age. As for Caramon *always* using a shield...he did not have one in the arena. Arack never gave him one.
Now for the character itself. Raistlin says Caramon's skin should be more darker. A bronze tan so to speak. He was after all fighting in the sun alot. Other then that...Excellent work! _________________________ Farewell and a long farewell it shall be. Some of us are not destined to meet again.

if you ever need help with creating realistic DL characters you can use the various RPG books available, Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weis (the creators of the dragonlance universe) usely have a hand in creating these reference books. They are accurate representations of character stats, skills, feats, items, spells, classes, and alignment. If you are looking for realism and want to recreate the authors visions of Dragonlance characters, this is the only way to go.

the char is otherwise probably a good char, but i just thought wtf? barbarian rage helped caramon in his speed in battle? i remember from one book it says he attacked once when the enemies hit him three times. i think it would be better with 20 fighter...

I have only read 1 of the Dragonlance books. But I do like them and I think your character is really good. I can't say much though. The hardest thing for me is creating a character. You can go far with him.

I made Tasslehoff Burrfoot but I have never uploaded a character. It was challenging because there's no kender in Forgotten Realms. Lets suffice to say I put a lot of points in his pickpocketing and use magic device skills :)If I can draw a map of Athkala better than Manhattan, does that make me a nerd? _________________________ No one crosses the Shadow Thieves... and lives.
Overall good work. I would disregard the negative talk from the unregistered people. Sometimes criticism is helpful. But this is just about character creation not economics or foreign policy right? We can afford to have our own opinions and thats why the game is fun.
That being said, I also think this guy is wrong. While Caramon was young he was constantly in battle and taking out tough opponents. Heck, Raistlin took on a goddess in the abyss, and would have won until he had a change of heart! But ultimately, most authors will admit that their characters do not match the rulles perfectly. Thats what makes it fun. Dragonlance was written when we were really small and the D&D rules were vastly different.

Do you even think before you make these characters. How can this guy be a level 20 character? He was only 20 at the time he was fighting in the arena? It was before the test of the twins. Before Raistlin took the test in the tower.
I've been saying this over and over. Read the books!! Then make the characters. You will see that your just blowing smoke. They all suck.

If anybody wants Sturm Brightblade I just posted him here on the Vault. I made him lvl 16 Fighter and lvl 4 Champ. of Torm b/c I thought he was more like that than the paldine class. Check it out.
