Though less powerful than many larger creatures flying snakes are considered by seasoned adventurers to be highly dangerous. Many have stories of encounters with these creatures, and they almost always end badly. In my campaign world they are the creation of an evil animist, who is now long dead. They prefer to inhabit high places, cliffs, ruins, and abandonned castles, are their favorite rookeries.
There is an idea in the works to do just that. Meanwhile this is for those who don't want to use a hak.

Thosae are just any old wrmling! Why don't you take some time and little by little, take off the legs then skin it, it'll look awesome to match the stats.
Thanks Gord. Good points below about the erf and rubies. I figure most people will adjust the treasure they drop, and since they manage to get away quite often I did not want people to get too frustrated. The reason I present it in module form is so people can see them in action and decide if they want to use them. Then they can just import them into their module. Of course anything here is for public consumption use them as you wish.

Nice work ffbj. You have done a nice job with thier abilities as well. Tough little bas tards to kill.
Quite like the sound of these. I'll try them out tonight. Might use them in my module if that is ok.
One comment though, a mod is a strange where to present something. It would have made it easier for the end users if you had also included an erf file that could simply be imported by other developers. A small point though as it is easy enough for us to do it for ourselves.
Actually, one other thought. The treasure seems quite generous - 2 rubbies for a monster with a Challenge Rating of 6 (by the way, you said it was 8 on the web page) seems quite generous. Is this because it is hard to kill them because they fly off first?
