Mariliths are generals and tacticians, often rivaling balors in sheer brillance and cunning. Some also serve as cheif lieutenants for major demon royalty. The are the third most powerful breed of Tanar'ri.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 14 that made this score of 8.64 then rounded to 9.

Posted by Fiery Ice ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-19 17:02:00
Oh i get it now! Only one problem, it wont let me import
more than one .erf file at a time. How do i do it?

Is this what that Yuxonem'ei +blocked+ from Icewind Dale was?
She may have been scaled down but even then she was almost
impossible to beat!
Posted by squall-goku ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-19 07:54:00
yeah it's an awesome monster, a must have.
add the Glabrezu, and Balor and you've got pools of
darkness.
Hey Papermonk, how do you open up the .2da files, how do you
single out what to copy and paste?
Cheers man :)
Posted by Jupp ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-19 04:18:00
@Fiery Ice
.2da files can be opened with Windows notepad. And the
numbers Papermonk was speaking of are the number that are
in the first column of the .2da file. Currently they range
from 1 to 299 as far as I know.
Posted by Fiery Ice ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-18 17:13:00
Huh? I dont get it. How do you open up the 2da files? And
what number are you talking about papermonk? And what
entry?

Best way for anyone interested in helping out (and we're
always looking for dedicated people) is just check out the
main page, read the "Needed: People!" topic and then post
in the appropriate forum.

I posted on the thread my comments on how awesome the model
looks, but I am simply in awe now that I have added the HAK
material to my current HAK. You and the whole Planescape
team are amazing. How do I become a member of your site?
I would love to help you in anyway I can to develop more of
the things I truly *love* in the D&D universe: PLANARS!!!

Open up the 2da files, copy the entry for one of the
creatures you're using. Paste it at the bottom of the
other 2da. Make sure the number in front is the next one
(both shouldn't be 300 for instance) then use that one in
the hak.
Posted by Fiery Ice ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-17 16:00:00
I know how to combine hak files, but i have a problem. How
do you combine 2 hakpaks that both have "appearance.2da" in
them?
Posted by Rainemaker ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-17 09:17:00
I may be nit picking here.. but arent Mariliths supposed to
have human looking top halves (aside from the six arms)?
Posted by Papermonk ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-17 06:07:00
A Glabrezu is definately on the way... but not for a
while.
As for the power structure.. it's arguable. The Molydeus
are pretty powerful... more HD than the mariliths... but
they only serve to police the Tanar'ri.
Posted by Squall-goku ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-17 05:53:00
Awesome, simply excellent - this is one of my alltime
favorite monsters, next to Glabrezu - Hopefully the City of
Doors Initiative have that one comming up sometime?
Question - Mariliths are the 3rd most powerful Tanar'ri?, i
thought they were second only to Balors?, Vrock are just
elite warriors, nalfeshnee are judges and Glabrezu tempt
mortals -
anyway apart from my dribble great work :)

Wow, Jupp. Very nice, looks great.

Work's in mine too
Posted by Jupp ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-17 04:12:00
She actually has an on-hit event (she gets pushed back a
bit to the side when hit). Funny it is not seen in game
since it worked for me on my NWN installation...I'll have a
look when I get back to my PC (moving to another location
in the next days)
Posted by Jugalator ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-17 03:31:00
Whoa! :)
So many weapons! Does it use them all??
Posted by StoryTeller ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2002-09-17 02:25:00
Wow! Very coo. Only one minor nitpicky thing... she seems
to be missing an on-hit animation.

WoW ! This is too cool! Thanks Jupp.
