A collection of 8 NPCs using Pausinius extended henchmen AI and taken from Shaderaven's KOTB. I tweaked them and renamed them to be generic, and altered their death/respawn to make it generic and work with most any module. I just assembled these henchman into ERF format so they can easily be dropped into a module you are making or playing that does not already have custom henchmen. I take no credit for the content itself. Very easy to install and step-by-step readme included.

I have not been able to successfully give a henchman anything at all with this package. I've tried giving them non-magic equipment that should be fine for their class, gone through the "I'm done managing your inventory" dialog, and nothing happens. The items disappear, but when I ask the henchman about inventory, they don't mention any of the items I just "gave" them.
Is all of this strictly script-based? Could it be that the automated henchmen need a hak that isn't in this download? If it's something that you attach to all your modules, Clobber, but that isn't in this download, then that might explain why its not working for people who aren't using that hak.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 4 that made this score of 7.50 then rounded to 8.

Also, do not give armor and equipment to a henchman that he
can't use. I've lost magic platemail by giving it to a
henchman that either didn't have the armor(heavy) skill or
didn't have a high enough level to equip it.

Oh, and yes, I had 1.24 when I started using the
henchmen. I had 1.25 (briefly) and now have 1.26 and it
has always worked with all three versions.

When you manage their inventory, they give you a box with
all of their items in it. Put any new items you want them
to have in the box. When you are finished managing their
inventory, you MUST talk to them and choose the option 'I
am done managing your inventory'. This returns their
items to them, and they will equip them immediately.
It has always worked fine for me.

The problem of the disappearing inventory is due to the
version of the Henchman AI used. This happened when the
1.24 patch was released. The latest version of the AI
should fix the problem. The latest version also seems to
work fine with v1.25 and v1.26 patches as well.

Sweet!
I may use these in my Tomb of Horrors mod and get rid of
the Pausanias's version of the NWN henchmen who babble on
about Neverwinter ;-)
