For those of you out there who care about the savety and chances of the general newbie, I give you the cure to your woes. This Avatar of Light come equipt with it's own custom eq (and a few standards). Extreme level and ready to take on any and every villian a PC could possibly have to high tail it away from. This is the insurance policy that the player will look up to (some will try to fight them....and die trying). So get your very own Avatar of Light today...while supplies last. Thank you for your newbie support. The CR is realy 67 and the outsider level is really 26
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 1 that made this score of 4 then rounded to 4.

Hehe just stumbled onto this page yet again. I'm glad I
finally have another adversary its been a long time since
the last one .
Anyways I'd suggest you try an alternate respawn system to
fill your goals. Again I use neversummer as an example
because I think it was one of the best run servers with no
item restrictions. There they used the Dark Age of Camelot
respawn and had it configured so the xp you lost for the
first few levels, 1-3 if remember right, you got back 100%
of your experience when you prayed at your grave. This was
a nice touch cause ys deaths till wipes out your gold, and
it also encourages low level characters not to go set up
the hypothetical camp in the cave suspicously close to the
sign reading "Warning Lair of Qualg'yorth the Red."
Or I guess you can just chuck out the big whitey to mop up
the would be low level killers.

Thank you for your input most hated adversary of the
gelatinous cube. I will take your comments into
consideration, but lets not forget the littlew problem with
a 1st level player diing so often that they end up with no
gp and no exp. THAT is what I'm trying to avoid. That is
what will cause a new player quit a module, not being
bored. The Avatar of Light was designed as a fail-safe
device for DM use to drop in in a nick of time to assist a
wounded newbie, not a bully basher. Still, I can see your
point but the ultimate power goes to the DM. As for my
feelings about the newbie, I talk from experience not from
my rear end. Thanks again.

Just a warning about how you suppose to help the "newbies."
On a server with no item level restrictions you have to be
very careful to maintain the games balance so it is still
enjoyable by players, to this end if players are always
giving there old equipment to lower level players they will
end up with equipment that is way above what they should
have. You'll find that the "newbies" become board with the
game, it was a pretty big problem in neversummer for awhile
and can potential become a very big problem if you are
organizing a group of people who will be doing it.

Thank you Evangelion, I am in the process of making my mod.
I'll keep all posted on the progress. Anyway Just so you
know...You will need to have you settings with no item
level restictions I think. This fella packs some 25-40
level items and I'm not sure how that will work otherwise.
Feel free to e-mail me with your woes, wants, and gotta
haves. I'll do my best to please. Oh, and, as of 2:00 am
cst, I in colliberation with others on the PW Action board
came up with NNF "National Newbie Foundation". We aim to
save our natural resource, the newbie, alive and well by
donating our old eq and helping them through the difficult
times, levels 1-3. We also act in the removal of Newbie
Hunting scum that prey on the defenceless. All interested
people just do the following.....If you have the gp to
spare, share the wealth with a newbie. If that magic armor
has gotten rather tight around the mid-section, give it
don't sell it. Weapons, amulets, and ring and cloaks, the
newbie won't run and hide if you offer these things. And
look at it this way, if they can't use it, they can sell it
to buy eq they can. Remember, support the newbie. People
care. NNF member count went from idea to 10 in less then
two hours. How about that, gamers aren't all jerks, some
have a soft spot for the less indued.....grin....
Thanx again Evangelion. E-mails are being accepted. Oh, I
see a newbie.....gotta go....
