This is my current version of all converted creatures from the Core Rules plus a few added from NWN that needed updating. !!!Now in individual ERF files for each creature!!! For the all-in-one ERF (1.07): http://planetneverwinter.com/valleyofshrouds/SR_3EMM_All.zip
any chance you will update this for CEP and release in a HAK instead of an erf? _________________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons.
You are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 56 that made this score of 8.84 then rounded to 9.

Does this erf just change all the monster stats to match the 3e MM or does it give them special AI too?
There was a monster pack I found one time that redid the AI for a ton of monsters to match the descriptions found in the MM, but I can't find it anymore. :(
Or figure out how to diminish/resize the dragon skins so
you can have wyrmlings (tiny or small) to young adults
(medium-sized) dragons. I hate having to use a Bat for a
Wyrmling Dragon but that was the best I could do. Grr...
Actually, I came across this site by accident. Its kind of cute, or well, at least I think so. I don't know if you've seen this, Shade, but perhaps this might help...

Well, I changed the summon spells to summon other things, and ran into the same problem with the AI. turns out summoned creatures use different script sets to make them do what they do. check on the forums of bioware for a list of the scripts to set your new monsters you want to summon to. hope this helps a bit :)

Hmmm. Bioware made some of these guys in the expansion, with better models. Sorry if i soud lame, but i was expecting new models to be under here. Good work i guess.
By the way. Does the medusa with the hooded ranger chick model actually turn people to stone? Or just get some skill ups?

Is his website down for good?

Hey ShadeRaven :
I imported one of your old critter packs and modified your baalor summoning scripts to replace all the monster summoning scripts (I-IX). 1.29 ver is 1d12 1st to 4th lvl, 1d10 5th to 7th, and 1d4 8th & 9th (animals are druid territory, and celestials, elementals & fiends are the domain of divine magic).
They summon standard monsters (golems wander off, dragons follow you, but most just fight and sit there after the battle ends). In a way it's pretty cool, but is there any way to make a standard critter a follower? (otherwise I have to make summoned versions of every critter)...

The whole point of it is that the creatures follow the rules in the 3rd edition monstrous manual. The ones that bioware supplied do not. Generally the monsters you get here are more difficult, because they have all the abilities they were supposed to. A great pack for a roleplaying server, the single player NWN is little more than an entertaining hack and slash.
Posted by Liller ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-05-19 13:02:00
let me get this straight. This is just the models suplied with NWN with changed stats, names etc.
What's the fantastic in that compared to some of the great custom models out there??? I don't get it.
I'm NOT trying to flame Shaderaven for his work!

I see up top there that you have V1.07 done but when I visit your site all I see is V1.04.
Just me or am I missing something.
BTW GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!

Great pack! That's a 10 if I ever saw one!

EXCELLENT WORK - VOTE 10 !!!!
Posted by Xaeryth ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-03-21 12:06:00
I really like the creatures being separate 'cause I only import what I need. The problem is, however, what I need is not listed. Could you perhaps add an erf for a Xorn (Xaren)? Thanks and keep up the great work.
Posted by Jugalator ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-03-16 12:05:00
Wut? This one isn't voted 10? I'll do my best to change that then. :-)
Posted by Dragonwall ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-02-07 14:03:00
Can you put them so u can import them all at once? It's
taking me FOREVER to import them...... :(
Posted by ShadeRaven ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-01-19 00:59:00
Okay, the individual ERF files is out there now
(SR_3EMM.zip) so that all of the creatures can be loaded
indivudual as well.
Enjoy!
Posted by ShadeRaven ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-01-18 12:21:00
After a long absense, I am back at it.
The _ALL.zip version has been updated to reflect the
changes to how BioWare handles CRs. I will put out an
individual ERF version soon, too, to fix the changes to
CRs since the original releases (1.06 and earlier).
Enjoy!

Would it be possible to make gargantuan versions of most
creatures? I'd love to see gargantuan golems.

Great Work ShadeRaven!
Just a quick question - why is it that when I look at some
of these critters in the toolset, they have adjusted CRs
that seem kinda out of whack. For example, Solar CR is
listed as 1/8... under advanced, its showing CR Calculated
of 77.61 with a -125 adjustment. Same goes for dragons and
a number of other things - is this intentional for a
reason? Or am I going to have to go through all these
files and adjust the CRs according the the 3e MM?

This is the best monster pack I have seen in a long time,
and a Godsend to people like me who are relatively ignorant
of D&D but want to keep a fairly accurate bestiary in their
mod. Thanks.

Hey there!
I just wanted to know one thing:
Do I have to have an hakpack that contains all these
monsters... cause if not it doesn't seem to be working for
me.
I tried the owl and it was just a falcon model ... (with
all the stats of an owl).
Help me out here please ... (email would be faster :-) ...)
Thx!

Thank you to ShadeRaven.
Again.

This is pretty cool, and must have been a huge chore to do
on your part. Looking forward to going up against the
creatures you've represented here.
Also looking forward to newer versions of this hak with
updated models that fit the creatures in question :)

Very, very, very, very nice. This saves me a lot of time
and effort.
Great job!
Looking forward to seeing your version of Temple of
Elemental Evil.

Nitpicks are quiet welcome! :)

thanks for all the hard work you're sharing.
not to nitpick, but there's a typo in the owlbear
description. . .

Given their addition of new functions in the 1.23 patch,
you could probably get that in if you moblise enough
support.
Keep the good work up.
P.S Don't you wish they'd optimise the custom creature
palette load times. ;)
