Among the smallest of the devils, spinagons, or spined devils, form massive groups to cruelly torture any victims they can find. Individually, they act as messengers and spies for their dark lords. Many baatezu scorn them for their weakness in a fight, but spinagons are the eyes and ears of Baator, so the wisest devil lords treat them with a modicum of respect. Spinagons look like gargoyles with razor-sharp talons on their feet, and their eyes glow a dull red. Based on 1st Edition description with stats converted to 3E. Modify stats to your taste. Yeah, I was wanting to look at the actual stats for the creature. I couldn't find it in any of the Monster manuals I have (Edition 1; MM1, MM3 Edition 3)
There was a Horned Devil which was very similar.
Anyway, it is a fantastic looking creature and I have added it to my CEP starter module. Great Job!
Not sure exactly what you're referring to, so I'll try to cover all the bases.
I got the 3E conversion info online, possibly from Scott Greene's 3E converter website, but I can't remember for sure. I used descriptions from the 1E Monster Manual (II?), and the head and body parts are all from the CEP.
