Britney is an extremely talkative lady of the evening. She'll sit and flirt, or she'll give out vital information (if you pay her enough.) Features: Britney won't talk to women. And she makes fun of anyone who's sex is 'none'. Britney maintains a PG rating. Sorry guys.
question: why should anyone care about the alignment of a prostitute? If she's in a module, you most likely aren't going to see the alignment, the PC will most likely not be affected by said alignment, so unless the prostitute is a central part of the mod, it doesn't really matter... not really a thing to write essays about, flame each other over, etc.
I think this is one reason why a lot of people don't allow comments on things like this...

(thats my school email btw. plz do not send crap)
Right. I'm not going anywhere into the prostitution bit, since I know absolutely nothing about the subject and will simply nod my head stupidly along with what anyone says, since i don't know anything about the subject... oh wait, i already said that!
I'll simply hang around the alingment, since that's what started the whole war.
Good = Nice-Guy/Gal, Kind-Hearted, Shares, Tries not to kill but will do so if they have to, Forgives, etc.
Lawful = Either abides by the law OR follows their own code of conduct/honor (also known as MORALS!)
A good example of how they conflict can be found in the D&D 3rd Edition Book, the Book of Exalted Deeds, which i'm buying this friday (and i saw only today)
A paladin who is ordered by her 'Head Knight Dude' (from now on refered to as HKD) to kill a murderer who escaped justice due to a legal technicallity (known as a loophole) is forced to decide between the 'Good' side of her alignment, and the 'Lawful' side of her alignment. Let's look at things form several points of view.
If she follows her command, and kills the murderer, she will be following her Morals, her 'Lawful'ness.
If she does not follow her command, but but captures the Murderer for yet ANOTHER court session, she's following her 'Good'ness.
What about this though. Say her master is corrupt. Thus if she follows the latter, she is doing both Good and Law (cause she realises it goes agasint her morals).
Let's take the problem one step furthur. What if the Government AND the HKD were corrupt? She roots out the corrupt government, captures the Murderer alive AND disobeys her superior.
She would keep her Paladinhood because a) she saved a life (Good), b) she followed her Morals (Law) and c) she discovered AND uprooted a corrupt government (Good+Law)even though she proberbly will be kicked out of her temple now for disobeying an order. See how complicated alignment is?
A Lawful Good Prostitute would be
1. Kind-Hearted, Nice, etc.
2. if her morals were 'get by as well as I can' then thats law.
If you look at the above example of the Paladin, she broke the law (as it was at the time) into several HUNDRED pieces, but she kept her Lawful status because she followed her morals.
This proberbly raised more questions than answers, but there you go. Alginment at it's most annoying.
I'd just stick with Chaotic Neutral, personally. Just do whatever the hell you want.

Wow. As Ray Carter used to say: "Stupid people. God must love 'em, he makes so many of 'em.".
I had to stop reading the posts at the one by .......
You know, the one with all of those so called facts? (I'm dying laughing about now...)
Those are all Hollywood facts drawn straight out of a movie by someone who is obviously about 14 years old and who has never experienced real life for himself.
Having an awful lot of friends over the years who have been dancers and/or prostitutes, I can say with confidence that everything that moron posted is false.
Sure, maybe in 3rd world countries they are forced into it on occasion, but the majority of..... Oh, why do I bother?
Thank you for uploading a good prefab for people who don't know how to set this kind of thing up. :)"Me Go Beer!" - Mr. Dave _________________________ Me go beer!

I've no problems with the concept.
But the implementation here is pretty lame. This is simply an NPC with a conversation done for you. It has no real 'prostitute' scripted behaviour, except for taking miniscule amounts of gold from you for things she never does.
It also didn't work. No idea why, but she would NOT have a conversation with any character that tried to talk to her, and it wasn't scripted behaviour.
She has since been removed from my 'red light' district, and more functional replacements will be found.

Its an ERF. You open your module, click File->Import, select the ERF, click OK, and it should be available as a custom creature on the resource tab for creatures over on the right, click it and place it somewhere. This really isnt the place to ask though, so if you want more help ask somewhere else. The bioware forums are a good place to start.

Im asking the same question as Jim57...someone answer please
Well, to get the RPG point of view...
TSR have several assassins who work for the "good guys" and they slay "when absolutely necessary". True, most of those are NG, not LG. But killing should be considered greater "evil" and "lawbreaking" than prostitution in itself.
So, LG may be OK. And if you don't like the alignment, you can change it yourselves so very easily.Hope is the denial of reality. But what is reality without a hope of changing it for the better? And what is worth doing if not the very thing that lesser mortals have labelled as "impossible to do", like making our hopes into our own reality.

Nice for adding flavor. I've combined her with the striptease for some interesting effects.
No ReadMe file included with this. I am new to adding custom content. Which NWN folder do I copy this file to? Is it Hak? Override? Override_bak? Local Vault? Anyone know where I can get some instruction on what all these folders are for? Thanks.

I thought Tamora was a halfling too. My male halfling stepped next to her, when I realized, she was taller. As a fit female halfling stands lower than a fit male, Tamora must be a gnome, which my character loathes... well, I don't know. She's a gnome.
I would just like to point out the official campaign of NWN's contains a house of ill repute where one can do the nasty with a halfling... nuff said, hmm?

All the people who are trying to make annoy everyone by saying people have a problem with prostitutes, just do everyone a favour and shut up.
Nobody has anything against prosiitution, we are merely discussing what alignementa prostitute would have.

I read the conversation in the tool editor, but I could never get her to work for some reason.

Why is everyone getting so worked up over this?
We are playing a game where our characters can "kill" other characters and often do. We are playing a game where our characters can "steal" and often do. We are playing a game where one can be evil or good and there are obvious outcomes for our actions.
I'm creating a Mod and in the furthest reaches of it there is prostitution (existant but not heavy and no real RP involved), I warn people as to the content and I'd hope that those with a problem would steer clear.
Why are people so agressive about this in either direction when we are playing a game where we are already doing things that are socially unacceptable by todays standards?

sorry didn't down load this one yet. I haven't decided whether it is needed in the module I'm trying to build.
But a note to those that keep crying about this type of stuff: Ive been playing D&D since 1986 and I've been with many groups no not all add these elements to there games but the majority do and it is still around legeally and illegally in every country in the world?
at least hes not makeing a rapist or love slaves which were around back then. As to what it looks like can't look anyworse then alot of the female PC's running around. just my two bits.

Well done to everyone for living up to geek status by making a prostitute character one of the most downloaded. So pitiful...
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 16 that made this score of 8.31 then rounded to 8.

(Yes, that's a real address.)
Just wanted to support you in expressing your creative work however you choose to. Not that I think we're dealing in high art, here, it is, after all, only a video game. But some people like to have prostitutes in their games. My upcoming module has them. NWN basic has them. D&D the Paper & Pencil Game has them. It's not *real*.
Besides, almost every D&D module has murder, death, mayhem, war, and brutal executions, or some variation thereof. Why all the concern about this one, a PG-rated hooker, when what would be horrible violence (were it real) is being portrayed constantly? I don't have a problem with either here--it's a game. I reserve my real-life concerns for real life.
