AstoriaLITE is heavily focused on RP. Please read all rules in the welcome area before proceeding into the game.
We are a Sister server to Astoria Legacy. Due to the long length of time AstoriaLegacy has been around, very high levels were reached, and it became hard for new players to find there place in RP. AstoriaLITE is AstoriaLegacy, but with a Server Wipe, and a few improvements to the module.
NWN patch level 1.68, SoU, HotU, CEP2, Pirates of the Swoard Coast tilesets required.
Many custom items available. Some upon request via RP.
Custom start locations for different factions.
Over 500 outdoor and indoor areas.
With a fully self functioning UnderDark of over 100 area's with several dungeons, and citys.
if enjoyed Astoria Legacy you will enjoy AstoriaLITE.
The server is heavly focused on RP a bit social, with full PvP setting's
Come to RP and do quest or come to hang out & RP.
We currently use a level timer to prevent power gaming, and Progression tokens to level past level 12 for most classes so you can't just monster bash your way to high level you have to RP.

Stolen work.
Crash modified by giving everybody whatever they wanted, clashing into one terrible excuse of a picasso art piece.
Would be better if it weren't stolen, nor lied about getting permission to steal it, nor being remotely a copy of Astoria Legacy.
If you want to make a decent server of your own that is -not- Astoria in any form, fashion, or way, then post it up, cool. Might be worth joining.
"Astoria Requiem" - Keep it about the server, don't bring personal matters into this about anybody, it has nothing to do with the fact that Requiem was stolen. Unless you want to start talking about how much of a lying, selfish bastard you are that desperately needs to seek mental help.

RolePlay (3.5):
I found that the role play on this server was mediocre. Characters were not played accurately and did not play by their attributes. While rolling dice was scripted, hardly did I see anyone use this option.
Progression (2.75):
When I first joined this server, the majority of the players were at high levels. At times I found it easier to level on Requiem then in some Action Servers.
Subraces (1.25):
While requiem provides a wide variety of subraces, they are not attributed in a balanced manner. Subraces lost their originality. Instead of just role playing a normal, Taimat-worshipping Dragon Disciple, many were good-aligned and strongly against taimat. There were no normal evil teiflings, and instead most were good. In short, people try too hard to make their characters special that the simple human race is a rare sight in Requiem.
Dungeon Masters (3.25):
Many of the quests were announced in Shout, meaning it attracted the entire player base. This creates problems because the events are often geared toward higher levels, meaning there is little contribution from lower levels. The DMs focus greatly on high-level characters, while low levels receive little to no attention. Many of the DMs here do not seem to have had much experience. I also was not impressed with most of the DMs grammer, giving them a sort of 13-year-old feel to them.
Areas (2.75):
Many of the areas were boring, too large, and unattractive. There were hardly any peaceables and the areas were uselessly large.
All in all, I give the server a 2.7
Id suggest this server if you are a regular on Action Servers, and would like to make your first attempt at roleplaying.
Yeah, as you can see this is a realy dramatic long-going server; that may or may not change. So far it's only got 1 vote by someone that I believe was given DM for joining the server.
I still stand by Legacy but good luck to all you Requiems and people that're looking to join.
Joshknight is a player from Astoria Legacy, he did not tell you alot, that one he lied to everyone for over a year claiming to be a girl, he did not tell you that the orginal builder of the module & owner OKed, it the Admins of the server OKed it, and that he is currently making a exact copy of baldurs gate, And no Josh you don't know anything, if you did you would have know A:L's DM team would be upset about you posting a preview of your own server on there forums. So please don't bad mouth others. when you know little, you forgot to tell them I was the host and the primary builder for Astoria Legacy, putting in around 70 hours a week on the server. So I think that alone is a good enough reason for folks to allow me to do things, let alone the hundreds I had spent on keeping the server up. A:L was a copy of A:R the person that built both is currently on my DM team.Bane_8 Me and bane are the only orginal Astoria 1 players left.
Sure. The entire server is a copy of Astoria Legacy. It is near identical, just things have been changed a bit to make it look as though it was done with hard work and dedication. The person that had access to the server took it and copied it.
I know for a fact the admin of the original wouldn't just GIVE it away. That'd be counterproductive to what we are trying to accomplish. So, hold your tongue before saying it's BS. Astoria Requiem is a blatant copy of Astoria Legacy and is a fraud.

Joshua1Knight, way to provide decent criticism, and backing up your BS claims of by just stating "stolen work"...perhaps you should Oh I don't know, address your claim before flaming someones hard work?
