I almost recieved adminship of this server with the support of the staff. I created alot on Aria but left it in late 2007 to persue other things with NWN1&2.

Alright players,*bleep*e admin.
I voted 1, mainly because of all the back biting and flaming present from various players... if you make an evil player you better just be a grumpy sod or you'll be flamed and torched for ever contemplating doing evil. I made a rogue who managed to get reasonably powerful, I was flamed constantly by players until I left for Amia, I returned and things died down only to be flamed again by the admins best friend, the player was banned which was a good decision on Robbs part I suppose.
Then Aria took a dire turn for the worse, alot of xp adjustments were made without the knowledge of both the DM's (I was one at the time) and the playerbase, it became a complete dictatorship due to the whining of level-jelous players, then of course there was a vault wipe because the admin threw his bottle out... I thought i'd go out with a bang, and I'm never coming back unless a new admin happens to appear, even then I doubt I will... This is a good server on a whole I suppose, but I feel slightly *bleep*ed over by the administration.
The player base? It rocks, can't find a better one.

The greatest? No. I've seen better. I personally don't like the resting system all that much, but that's just my opinion.
Good? Yes.
Aria is a very welcoming server, with friendly players and DMs who are willing to provide on-the-fly NPC interactions to support my roleplay (thanks, Deneir). Finding your way around and trying to get what you want seems a bit daunting at first, but the rewards are there for people willing to find their characters' roles and play them.
Bottom line? It's a fun place to play, as long as you can focus on the server and ignore the BS pissing contests on the forums. As with any server, expect to take a session or two getting used to the way things work and figuring out what your character's doing there in the first place.

Thanks for taking notice of Aria, AnthroPlayer. Yes, I hope you can drop in and give it a try, as well. It is likely the best way to determine if Aria is a good fit for you.
About the propoganda issue... I re-read all of the comments, and I feel confident that everyone's comments were genuine, including the critical one from "TheTruth." The comments here are made to praise or criticize Aria. No hidden agenda there...

your wrong about the propaganda teamwork. our own forum that discusses the vualt listing of our server we talk about not doing the flame war and actualy consider what negitives folks might say. do we need to improve a subject a visiter is pointing out on here? me being on staff for Aria and voting a ten here wasnt to be a shameless plug. it was honestly out of confidence. I dont believe were arrogant. since if someone was to point out something negitive that we didnt know how to fix I have the confidence we would look into it and ask around the community forums advice on how to fix problem with honest non flaming innuendo questions. but since youve said youve not visited us I dont know what there is for us to improve on from your post cept not to let anyone of our current community not to vote for Aria.
I scedule my DM events on NWC alot , your welcome to sign up and see things yourself. you wont beable to vote till after the session and others will be able to review you as well on there by the way. I look forward to gaming with you .

I rate this server a six.
I havent even played it yet, but to see such arrogant,*bleep*y, and even irksome remarks by its players and staff, even the insult of staff being allowed to vote for their server, well, It drops the quality of the server several fold.
Also, I have noticed how odd some of your players act. Are they hiding something? Or maybe their annoyed? Or maybe both, or neither?
Personally though, the 'propaganda teamwork' put me off very badly. All good servers do NOT use proganda and slandering to endorse their modules.

I've played on Aria for over 4 years now and to me there's no Finer RP server or community to be found. The original and still the Best, its Aria !

I'm giving Aria this wonderful score because it deserves it. Of course there have been bumpy roads but its stuck through. I found Aria because a friend, Seniar, brought the game over and played it while I watched to see if I might like it. I did of course or I would not be here now. Then the third expansion came out and my computer could no longer handle it. It was horrible I missed playing but finally got a better cpu and came back but this time as a different character and with another friend with a twin concept roleplay. Once again I was hooked right from the start because of the feel and the wonderful roleplay that my character encountered. I took a long break from NWN completely and now after just reinstalling the game I found myself once again logging first thing into Aria and encoutering totally new people that once again gave the feel and wonderful roleplay experience. I love Aria and no other server tops it that I've tried yet. So I say, Hooray for Aria and its player and DM base!

Aria was for me, like it was so many others, the first server I played on. I spent a lot of time role playing with some of the most interesting characters, as well as meeting genuinely pleasant people. The module itself is amazing. Several places to explore, even now more are being put in. Aria is honestly, in my opinion, the best role play server. Only using CEP and no other haks makes it very accessible to newer players. The DMs do a great job of managing things and running fun and exciting quests. Everything about Aria is handled very well. If you are looking for adventure and a chance to roleplay with some of the most amazing characters, as well as partake in events run by brilliant DMs, Aria is the place to be.

I gotta' give it a 10. I liek Aria because it is not too easy, making those first few levels is hard, but rewarding. And it's not too hard, where you will end up getting frustrated and leaving. (Usually the only time that happens is when I'm with LcrdcfCblivicn). A friend brought NwN over to my house and showed me Aria, and I stayed with it because it was fun, and attractive. Though I havn't played many other servers for more than 43 seconds, I can say that Aria might be hard to live up to.

I was there for the good, the bad, and the ugly. I was told by more than one person that with Robb at the helm, Aria ROCKS! hehe .. Avoiding curiosity never having been my strong suit, I felt I must see for myself. This character I made (Damia) to come see what it was like now, hence the name "I'll never tell.." without maybe starting to talk to old friends and want to stay for that reason alone. It is "like old times"... I didn't believe it, but have found out that it was true. I'm glad I did because not only is it bigger, it's better than ever before. Make no mistake, it's not easy... but nothing worthwhile ever is.

Aria has been around for a long time and has always been safe bet for a player looking for an RP server.
Aria keeps getting better. The last six months or so have been great, primarily because of the efforts of the new admin (and also dedicated volunteers and players).
I would encourage any NWN1 gamer to check it out. Easy to join...requires only the widely-used CEP2.

Very well done RP server. My first time there was very impressive with the RP and other players. I even had DM interaction! Next best thing to RL pen and paper game. Great Job!

Honeslty Truth... yourvotes aren't even effecting the overall... but there are several people whom go to aria... have fun and stay... I am the owner of another older mod known as Alangara And there are people flocking to it from before...
at times its the old players whom set the path for the newbies. I am Friends with bth the old and new admin.. they both run/ran Aria very well the old admin just had to pull out due to her life... no one knows you but you talk bad about the module... my only question is... When was the last time you played on Aria?
And i still have to say Aria is the best place to go when your sick of your own module (mainly when its just starting back up)

all servers needs to accecpt all kinds of input. helps us know what things we need to work on. but since Aria does to this day collect people new to NWN and work with them, experienced players might encounter someone still learning how to roleplay. if a new player is beyond help we wont hesitate to point them to a action server to be more at home with. we havnt the need too do that I recall since most of us DM's have a history of educaiting new players

I believe that you were once quite attached to Aria at one time. and maybe you were very close to alot of people on there. all servers have their ups and downs after running for so long. this time around the excitement is like old times. Aria has always welcomed new people and willing to help others learn roleplay unlike these passworded roleplay servers. theres still alot of Life in NWN1 and new players all the time. and your welcome to play with us again with open arms to show us quality roleplay.
we all had clean slates from the past.

Why all the personal attacks? As was stated, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think what's been said here illustrates exactly the type of people who play on this server. Just because something is popular that doesn't make it good or pleasant. It simply means that it has attracted those whose mentalities match what is being offered. My statement still stands. If you wish QUALITY role play and people who are kind and not prone to verbal attacks then you will be happier on another server.

Look at that, one negative comment. All others positive. New and old players enjoying the server....having fun you, remember that? The whole point of video games? Everyones got a right to their opinion but come on "The Truth" Hahahah can't even say who ya played on Aria or what your account name was? Coward. Whats to be afraid of? Why hide behind a BS made up screen name just to state an opinion?
Aria is fun I was there when the old admin ran things and remain friends with her. I'm still here and yes its a better server now. The new admin simply has more time and better equipment to put into Aria than the old one did. The players notice it and the community is growing daily now, go look at it any time of day numbers don't lie.

This is the first server I ever tried. After trying several others I come right back. The rp is outstanding, the DM team has always been fair and is willing to lisen and work with you, something I found is not always true on other servers. the players and staff are always willing to help the new player as well as the older players. All I can say is it is a great server.
