and above all Immersive. Where players can roleplay surrounded by a beautiful world. The
module currently consists of 500 areas and over 50 scripted quests. It is built with the most
extensive and feature-filled custom haks possible.

Hey folks, I'm not sure if any of you still play on this server. I use to play quite a bit, and seeing as I haven't talked to anyone from here in ages and don't know how to get in contact with anyone (the old forums don't appear to work), I figured I'd post on here to see if anyone would get back to me. If your not sure as to what characters I've played, I played Rockus on Visions of Aerth and Bagrim on Ultiaris. Anyways, I just wanted to see if this community was still kicking around anywhere, and if so, I was wondering where abouts.

A world where good and evil collide like it's out of a storybook... perhaps too much like it.
Areas - 5.00
Aerth is a mature module built by a small team of fairly competent builders, though many areas show some rough edges to experienced builders. It often appears that the construction was rushed, though there is no shortage of land to explore. Dungeons, sadly, seem rather monotone and lackluster.
Scripting - 7.00:
There are no scripters present on staff at this time, but the existing systems are well-built and managed, even if their creators are not around. Expect to see a few 'loose ends' with scripts. No usable quest system.
Community - 3.00:
I have seen many mods with a more healthy playerbase, both in size and in attitude. There is a high insistence on 'my rp' being 'my way' by many players, followed by severe inflexibility by same. However, when properly motivated and involved, the players can be a compelling group.
Staff - 4.00:
While the staff at present is not terrible, at the same time there are far too few of them, and the responses, reactions, and information received are often in conflict or fail to take written lore into account. The staff could stand to be larger and communicate within itself better. Unfortunately, the staff's thought process is often "Here is my conclusion, how do I reach it?" and as such many events or world happenings are well outside the control of players. The only reason staff did not score lower was because they are genuinely trying to help and are usually pleasant to chat with.
RP - 2.00:
RP here is, sadly, terribly focused on a specific 'group'. Perhaps this is merely an impression or a side-effect of a smaller server population, but the subject has been breached multiple times. It also tends to be 'railroaded' when in DM events, and prescripted endings seem to be common. RP tends to follow a formulaic pattern and things often end up 'how they're supposed to be' rather than 'how they should be due to the work of the players'. There is great potential in the lore for conflict and meaningful RP, but I find that there is little to none that suits my personal taste.
Haks - 5.00:
They're pretty to look at. That's about it. The hak downloads are insanely bloated and subject to change uncomfortably often for a PW. They do look great ingame, but the present set has a great amount of superfluous data and as a result I would not recommend undertaking this download without a good cable or DSL line.
Overall Score - 4.33 (4.25):
While the module itself is strong, the community and staff leave much to be desired. While there is obviously room for improvement, the question remains as to whether or not improvement will actually happen. There is great potential, but also great obstacles that the community there must overcome before they will return to their former prominence.

This is still a great world. Some great rp can be found here. Come give it a chance and see what keeps us hooked on Neverwinter Nights!

Place has its head screwed on right- seems to strike a good balance between the strictly RP and the PvP crowd. Changes are innovative and keep things balanced while not making anything boring.
Dungeon design's solid, scripting is really impressive, haks aren't CEP but are pretty damn good.

Great PW, immersive and intense. One of the few living PWs left on an aging NWN. Module is being rebuilt for 1.69, come take a look!

Great PW, awesome staff, fun events. Been playing here for about a year now. It's a lot of fun. The staff is very dedicated to making the best possible experience. Lots of factions, politics, plenty of room for those that want to get involved in all political RP and still stuff for people to do that don't want to.

This is a good server, helpful people and a good staff willing to help you achieve what you intend to do with your character. Great RP and an ever expanding lore which generally develops according to player interaction with the world. Recommended for anyone wanting a good RP experience.

Just joined this world looking for somewhere that I can rp and work to achieve something with my character that won't take like a year to do and I'm glad to finally say this is it. The leveling is relatively easy till about level ten where it stiffens for a few levels then continues to about a moderate level and becoming harder as you gain levels until a level 30 cap, this is where you need to quest and rp for xp. This server is only in beta but it's great already and the builders take the time for you and hear your thoughts on matters and suggestions. DM's are just as good despite me being in a totally different time zone they still do what they can to answer all my questions and help me.

After building two PWs personally and seeing several more run, it's nice to be able to relax and know a knowledgeable team is running a solid PW. I'd suggest you take a look- they're on top of what they're doing.

Well the server is still in testing, so large groups of areas are being added at a time in an effort to test them before including more. Besides this however, I'd like to give a 10 sheerly for the effort and work put into this by the staff.
