Castle Defense is a lighthearted teamwork server, where the goal is to defend the king at all costs from attacking waves of enemies. No downloads needed so come on in and join the fun!
The server can be found under the Team section of the gamespy. Although the server hasn't been up for very long, we already have a steady playerbase. You can visit our forums at Link
If the king survives for 45 minutes, the players win the round. At the beginning of each round both players and monsters are low level, but XP is gained quite fast. Players logging in during the round are leveled up close to the average level.
Some of the features:
- Plenty of fast-paced action & fun
- A number of different maps and enemy army types
- Military equipment such as catapults, barricades and explosive barrels
- Players can earn a higher rank and hire NPC troops
- Automatically upgrading items to save time

A great mod, one of the best action servers to show up in NWN. The only server I know of where the mechanics functions the way DnD intended. _________________________ Current project: Revamp of Anphillia 2 for NWN 2

This is an amazing, fast-paced module that can be alot of fun. The ability to set up barricades to funnel the enemy, or launch fireballs with catapaults makes this one of the most thought out and well made modules i've seen so far.

I love this server. With fast action-packed gameplay, a permanent experience bonus system, siege weapons and LOTS of monsters create an enjoyable experience. 10/10

After getting tired of all the PvP action modules I discovered Castle Defense. It's currently my favorite action module. The battles can get very intense and fast paced at the higher difficulty settings. Teamwork is a central part of the game and one of the most rewarding aspects. Lastly, numbers of NPCs on both sides of the battle make the battles seem like truely epic confrontations rather than your typical PvM monster grind. Best of all, the module is under active development, so new features and improvements are being added all the time.
To quote Minsc: "Camaraderie, adventure, and steel on steel. The stuff of legends! Right Boo?"

This is one of the most fun modules I've ever had the chance to play on NWN. The gameplay requires a lot of co-operation between players, and is quite challenging at times. There are a lot of ways to win the round and each requires the players to act together and plan ahead...I give this 10/10 for pure, simple genious! _________________________ Logical arguments tend to favour those who have much faith vested in them. Often accompanied by an epic skill to resist the arguments against.

A whole lot of fun! Cool creatures, features, and siege gadgets to use against the enemy.
