The blistering chill of the frigid Arctic sweeps through a small cluster of villages lit only by fire, and that light does very little to hold back the darkness that paces with unnatural patience amongst the thatch-roofed homes. For the shivering mortals, huddled by the imagined safety of their hearths, this is a world fraught with more danger than even a nightmare could create.
Yes here wander the beasts spoken of in legend: the ever-thirsting undead that survive off of living blood, the howling beasts that rage through the overgrown forests, the murmuring warlocks who become mad as their power increases. Hunters- fueled by righteous anger and steadfast in their belief of the Almighty- struggle against overwhelming odds, and the remains of their battles are stepped over by those who have triumphed, and only fellow hunters mark their passing.
These are the remains of the city known once as Nebari. These are the small communities that still cling to life in the difficult circumstances brought- not only by the meagre resources of the Dark Ages and the environment- by the pervasive darkness that lurks even in the brilliant candlelight. Here the unnatural creatures battle one another. In the shadowy alleyways and paved streets of the small villages, the supernatural emerges to fight the unseen, unknown and impervious force that keeps them trapped. On this island, escape has been made impossible, and as these are beings considered mythic by the world of Man, they know no such thing as "impossible." They struggle, and in that, become fueled by increasing rage as they battle despair.
Life is cheap. Honour is a laughable concept. Morals exist only in the dry books of scholars, and if there is a shining light to be found at all- is it that thing so many call by the name 'love?'- those who recognize it find that it is more delicate than Venetian glass. In this world, a crime is only such by name if it is witnessed, and the invisible eyes that watch the island's inhabitants play their games seem to care naught for justice.
This is Romsa Displaced- a city in the World of Darkness, lost to the Dark Ages- and although no sign will read as such upon entering, be warned, wary traveler, that all hope should be abandoned upon crossing its' borders. Better to lose such a delusion than have it torn from you in the depths of the night...

A changed in my vote after being subject to the up above problems that hardcore had been involved in, alot has changed and for the worst.

I have been playing this server since the original ever since it started out years ago, having gotten a computer back recently just to play nwn and hop back on this server, Its just as I remember it, great roleplay, Excellent DMs, And I love the Old World of Darkness Setting...

I never attempted a MMORPG before this. I don't think I could ever leave, because this server has been wonderful. The players are friendly and creative, the DM Team is intelligent and fair, and the World of Darkness simply pulls you in. Wonderful characters, amazing plotlines, hilarious RP and enough of everything all together to keep one very, very entertained. _________________________ "I live the truth stranger than fiction."

The once popular WhiteWolf server has returned, hosted by the ORIGIONAL server founders (Knightstar & Scarss). I invite you all to come and try it.. WhiteWolf is a horror setting Roleplaying enviroment with a healthy dose of PvP conflict (optional) thrown in.

A great server to play on. Friendly and helpful DMs and player base. While the server is currently being worked on it still offers a great deal of serious roleplay for its players. There is plenty of custom material but it doesn't require millions of downloads.
