Drow themed world where great war events are held and the eternal balance of good vs. evil is in constant shift. This is the change in pace you've been looking for. Even the DMs, Mod Owners and Mod Hosters behave like Drow! Dor has been featured by NWN Wednesday and combines the best elements of PW with DM run events and campaigns. Some Highlights: * Party XP Bonuses. * The best custom content (both created and assembled) to be found. * Numerous Unique DM-controlled scripted quests. * Completely Unique weapon sets - not Leftover weapons from single player. * We put balance and fun ahead of HCR or 3ED rules. * The world is geared towards experienced and mature players who desire challege and think strategically.
Just feel like I want to comment PWreviewer's judgement of the server. The server is geared for fast levelling from 1-20. After this the going gets tough and challenging. Requiring partying This is done intentionally by the builders. You get party bonus XP and drop rate increases and so called sould gems start to drop. It is true that many of the players on the server are veterans and because of this got lots of nice gear. In my experience The veterans offer help, guidance, and items to all new people joining to give them an easier time. We are not satisfied with the player base and would love to expand it but we will not change server to make soloing easier. Instead approach the people playing in tell and ask the questions you got and help will be given. I will say Dor Maeglin is one of the few servers I have played that offers challenges to even the most well equipped and power build characters. At the same time you can do just fine by having lesser equipment and joining a party. Only by playing with others can you get the true Dorian experience.

Seem to be content with their 5-10 player base at the moment, of whom are elitist, each equipped with endgame armour/items. Very hard for new players to get into beyond lvl 18-20. Very gear based, and encounters beyond lvl 20 requires only certain types of builds in order to be defeaten.

Nice playground for low to epic lvls. A must-visit for people who like party-play or can't run nwn2 to visit Dor2... :D
