The Duchy of Genoa is a Renaissance Period RPG modification of the NWN d20 rule set. The server has been up on the Social Tab since Novemeber of 2003 and have now moved to the Role Playing Tab on Gamespy. We are currently seeking more players who are interested in this romantic, intriguing, conflict filled era of human history. The server has an extensive script system that includes touching scripts, mail system, unique duel arena, non spell casting themes, restricted items, no immunity local vault world with full customized content/clothing/heads/music. Each weekend at 12 noon PST/3pm EST gatherings of players from all over the world meet at the Capri lounge as major plotlines revolving around the player's involvement in world events takes place. The world has an established player base and is looking to add find more mature, intelligent, players who are motivated by role playing with a purpose
The server is based in Santa Cruz California and runs 24-7.
However, if you would like to lease me a quaint Italian villa off the Amalfi coast, near perhaps Positano, and front me say.. 5k USD for an additional machine, +/- $750USD/for operating expenses, I'd be happy to run a European server

Seriously however, the project is a Hobby level effort on my part and not a commericial project or collaboration with other users. Hopefully your ping time is not poor. We have had many players form England, Denmark, Italy and Norway play with broadband connections and they have had good connectivity.
