We are a private server and currently have about 20 active players. We are using a highly-modified HCR 3.1 system and running NWN version 1.62 (Hordes of the Underdark and Shadows of Undrentide both required). Two haks totalling 60mb are also required. On to the fun stuff: * The module, which I began building in June of 2002, is based in the Forgotten Realms, in an area called The Vast. It is an area largely inhabited by dwarves and their ancient foes, orcs and giants. The 'main plot' of the module revolves around the loss of the dwarves' ancestral home 'Jormunsalr' (The Great Hall) to orcs and 'others' during the time of troubles. * Dragons actually fly! * Please visit the forums to read more. Yet another ridiculous server that expects you to group with others to do any adventuring. Problem is there isn't anyone to group with! Why do servers do this?

A wonderful community of roleplayers. The HCR seems scary at first alright but try it and you'll find you'll find nothing as exciting. You might not even notice how well the world is done because before long, you'll find yourself immersed in a DM plot along with enough other great players...

This server is great because of the GM's and George. First off the server uses the HC rules, so its not for the weak at heart

The first NWN server I played on, and I always come back. This is the greatest gaming experience I've had online.
Hullo, I've been looking for a good world to join for a long time now, experienced many. This one looks really interesting except I'm on dial-up so I won't be able to look just yet... see you soon... three hours of downloading heh.

This server is awesome. I find the place filled with great roleplayers. Perfect blend of challenge, intensity and creativity. Great setting with lots of DM interaction. The only problem is I'm too hooked :).

Some say that ES is too tough. Actually, it is certainly challenging, but in such a way that makes you act like a living person, not going out hunting alone or engaing an army of orcs without support. RP level is excellent, and the world itself is extremely detailed and constantly expanding. Also, it is paradise for those who love dwarves!

Earthspur is by far the #1 RP PW I've seen, hands down. The server evolves and is adaptable beyond reproach. The stories are compelling and enjoyable. The role-playing by all (DMs and players alike) is some of the best I've seen in all of NWN. And most importantly, the game and people that play it are fun. If you're looking for a PW with a great player base, superb stories, and a die-hard RP bent, Earthspur is for you.

Great server! DM's are involved and the players are a lot of fun. There isn't a lot of hack and slash but if you like to RP then you shouldn't miss it.As long as we have each other we will never run out of problems

Great gameworld, it is tough, with serious RP. The players are great, and the DM's are great. There is a lot of interaction between players and with DM's. Give it a try!

I am biased since I am one of the DMs and the primary builder, but, I think we have put together one of the finest persistent world modules available. The world is expansive, immersive, varied and fun. The DM crew and players bring it all to life.

Probably not for you if you need quick advancement, lots of treasure, etc. If you appreciate good rp, good community and a good challenge, Earthspur is great.

I love this server! Earthspur was the first server I tried and I have not found another that comes close to it. The player characters are loads of fun and there is one character in particular who has a bad case of alzheimer's who is a blast.
