Spell, skill, and feat alterations are listed on server. Erzlaw does not have rules governing player behaviour but roleplay and maturity are encouraged. Erzlaw is mostly a DM-free zone.
Hi everyone, the Erzlaw server is now closed down. The last two years have seen over 10,000 characters and countless hours of fun. I'd like to say thanks to everyone who made it such a special place. As for another Erzlaw in nwn2, all I can say is its possible. The Erzlaw project was very important to me but dwindling interest in nwn due to real life considerations and events have led me to close the server.
I have known many of you in-game under one alias or another and feel privledged to know such a good group of people. Good luck and happy gaming to all of you and perhaps I will see you again in the future if I make a new Erzlaw or in some other gameworld or online environment.
Erzlaw is still up and running, not sure why someone thought it was down. Thank you to the DM's, PDM's and players for making it a special place. Special thanks to Tarames for handling tough situations with grace and keeping things running well. Also special thanks to hmr1 and bellowman for helping so many newbies!

yeah i was only one that actually deserved to be band unlike the others, and only way seems to keep people there is giving DM powers away. well whatever if you enjoy bad RPing and lame stories please join and stay keep the good servers open.
Oh BTW :snickers: we all agreed that there seems to be underage players there, so just watch who you play with!

Wow, Bloody420, I recognize your name from playing on there. I usually play as Lou Cipher or Cthuchik. I never realized the GM was like that... never saw that suff happen there but then again that doesn't mean that it didn't, I just never witnessed it. Are talking about Tarames? I had a lot of fun this server, sad it's shut down.

This is an excellent mod and well worth the time it takes to begin playing there. On the whole it is well balance, fast paced and lacks many problems that plague many other such worlds.

This is a wonderful world, with a main quest that introduces you to several parts of it. Depending on your chosen character class some areas may seem a bit tough, but that encourages combining your efforts with other players.

Amazing detail, unlike anyting I've seen before. Friendly players, great roleplay atmosphere,lots of quests and adventures. I highly recommend this server.

A great place to play. Despite - or perhaps becuase of - the adult content, the server isn't populated by bunch of hormonal teens trying to prove they can do better 'builds' and randomly PK'ing players.
I've yet to meet a single person who has acted in an immature way here, a nice change from the majority of servers I've played on.
Don't come to the server expecting leet uber gear, you won't find it. The gear IS, however, quite suitable for the creatures you'll face. There's no need to min/max your character in order to survive, so long as you don't go being silly and say, charging headlong into a pack if you're a Rogue.
The atmosphere of the server is very relaxed. If you're a heavy Role Player, you can do that, if you're more into hack & slash, you can do that too. There's no forced character progress as with many other 'RP' worlds. By this I mean, if you want to take a single level of, say, Shadow Dancer, you can, and you won't be treated like a leper for it.
This mod is one of the most balanced I've seen.

In the short time I play there yet Erzlaw became my most favorited server/mod I've ever seen in the years since I play NWN online. It's very realistically based on D&D rules, has an adapted powerlevel and fascinates with a good story with depth and a realizable development while Your character developes itself. Thump up and 10 points from here!

A great mixture of quests, epic battles, ingenious scripts and role-playing! A "must visit"!
Turns out the problems are not with the high res textures, but with certain video cards, the ati radeons. In particular the 9800 series. The problems can be minimized by disabling shiny water and creature shadows. For everyone else, you should have no problems with the high res textures. I recommend 128 mb nVidia gforce. I have a gforce 5600 which runs fine, but I wouldnt mind an upgrade ;)
