We have a custom system. You have the possibility to be resurrected by a player cleric or you go to the plane of death and talk to the God of Death Jergal, who will perhaps gives you another chance. The different ways include gold and xp loss. --------- Wir haben ein eigenes Todessystem. Wenn man stirbt, gibt es die M�glichkeit sich von einem Player Kleriker wiederbeleben zu lassen oder auf die Ebene der Toten zu gehen und dort ein Zwiegespr�ch mit Jergal zu f�hren. In jedem Fall verlierst du Gold oder XP.

Herzlande is he oldest and biggest German Neverwinter Night Persistent World. It was founded in November 2002 with a small team. Today we have plenty of maps, a big staff, two game servers and a big community. It�s a hardcore role-playing shard. You can be part of a living world with many guilds, fractions and many possibilities for adventuring. For each there are many things to do and many ways to choose. It�s best to make your on opinion. ;) --------------------- Herzlande ist der gr��te und �lteste Neverwinter Nights Shard im deutschsprachigen Raum. Er existiert seit November 2002 und seitdem eine gro�e Entwicklung hinter sich. Mit einem gro�en Staff, vielen Gebieten, zwei Game Servern und einen gro�en Spielerschaft bieten wir Rollenspiel auf sehr hohem Niveau. Es gibt viele Fraktionen, Gilden und Anlaufpunkte, sodass jeder etwas finden wird. Aber am besten man macht sich selber ein Bild davon.

Noch nicht mal drauf gespielt und trotzdem machts den besten Eindruck .
Falls man denkt dort ist nur noch tote Hose am besten mal in das Vilhongriffforum schauen, der Link dazu steht auf der Herzlandeseite.

It´s a nice way to live another Live on another little World. The new skillsystem is also very good. Not much to say about it , play it yourself!

Herzlande is the one and only for me. I have started as a newbie and all have helped me. The GM's, the players and the admin. All very good and helpfull. The world is big and I play since 8 month on it and haven't explore all.

You are right the Herzlande Server Project is indeed only for the German speaking community. We have players from variant countries, but all of them speak German. You ask why the player also write in English. That's for two reasons. One is that not all the writers are players from the server and just want to cause a bit of trouble, the other is that we want to present also a German Neverwinter Night Persistent World Projekt to an international community and the best way is to do it in English. ;)

Thats the greatest server I´d ever seen.
All the people, there playing, are everytime frendly and helps if you have problems. And I have everytime problems. In fact there are often quests. And these are very, very great.

Well, Herzlande is a good, but not especially server. He has the usual standard classes for a RPG and a good world for them. The world (2 Servers) looks fine but unfortunately something bald and liveless. There are much players there and this is a very good aspect to play there. However, the atmosphere strongly suffers. Nevertheless it is worth a view above all because the roleplaying is seriously taken (the World of Dungeons & Dragons). If you have enough time and strong nerves, you made the right chose. Otherwise, I recommend a server where you can free decide about your actions - but ever within the framework of D&D.
To the details:
-The Herzland-Community looks gentle and funny.
-The Herzland-Staff very competently (even if the Staff liked to steer gladly too strongly).
-There is very much documentation and help to D&D / roleplaying
(My English is not the best, therefore I used partially a language tool.)

Before Herzlande, or "Zwergenserver", there was another PW running, "Balan". Kairn was the admin and he is playing a leading role in the development section of the Herzlande. It even exists a village called "Balan" in the Herzlande. So, if you count "Balan" as the ... erm ... "Prequel" (? - My english isn't the best) of Herzlande, it is kind of the first server, I think. Damn, this discussion is so senseless, I had to take part in it.

There is no such thing like a "best roleplaying shard" because every player has their own taste and playstyle. But you don't seem to know that much about the other PWs anyway as you should have known that Rivin has been a Servervault-PW for some months and has still had higher player numbers than Herzlande ever since, like up to 55 players every evening. And regardless of what you say about Seldar, which is not polite at all btw, you cannot change the fact that it went online before Herzlande did. *shrugs*

Herzlande is definitly the best Roleplaying Shard in the German NWN Community.
Rivin , well Rivin ist not a real PW, i had lots of players of course but only because it was a Local Vault Server.
Seldar is older than Herzlande but you just like it if you have no real interest in roleplaying.
Herzlande is often compared with Hochwaldallianz.
Hochwaldallianz has more Servers ( 3 at the moment) but less players and went online half a year later.

This server is the best server i ever played on! The quantity and the quality of the roleplay is just amazing! The staff is very involved and is doing an awesome job! Many compliments to the community too! Best german roleplayserver ever imho!
