Description
Invasion of Rune is for players who want to take part in an ongoing storyline and roleplaying, and at the same time want to enjoy a lot of action. The continent of Rune is under much threat, a new race known as Numans has appeared and have begun attacking various towns and villages, many doubt whether Rune can hold uner the strain. At the same time Runefaust, the neighbouring continent, and once an ally, has declared war after suspicions of treason and treachery. Players can get involved with helping Rune, or destroying it, or they can just sit and relax at the local inn. Invasion of Rune has hundreds of custom items, nearly 200 areas already and many fun scripts and features including player guilds. Invasion of Rune is work in progress and we hope you'll give it a chance and give your opinions, we are always seeking views from players so that we may develop the world into a place which suits everyone's needs. The server is found in the Role Play section.

I give this a 9.25.
Fun: Very fun! 100% pure roleplayers might be a bit turned off though, because a lot of players are only there to powergame and level up. But there are also a lot of players there to roleplay, so there's something there for everyone. It can be very difficult for noobs though, so they may need to group up or get a bit of DM help (quests).
Design: Areas look beautiful. They feel very natural and it's nice to look at em. Enemy creatures are poorly made though... an ice giant boss had an incredible amount of HP so it took forever, but a small amount of AC so we hit almost every time. There are other enemies like this.
Story: Great!! The mod is based on Shining Force/Lunar and the story is about some virus and the numans and such. There's a scripted campaign so if you're alone on the server you can work on that.
Quality Control: Ouch. Tons of spelling and grammatical errors and some of the DMs are complete noobs... I once gained two levels in one quest.
For those that enjoy a mix of powergaming and roleplaying, this server is right for you.
