Well.. It's been a while but the Isles of peril server is back up and running to those of you who this really matters. not much new but the guy working on it is making progress. (I'm only the server admin..) Dwarven island has some new stuff... A few new places to search through. Once everything is done with Danterholm more islands should be popping up. Just keep checking it out and report back here if you happen to find anything wrong or what have you.
P.S.. updates take forever and there is usually someone on after like 6 pm eastern time.

If you search by module name it should alphabetize to the top because it has a space for the first character in the name. The server name is ECHCIsles of Peril. The reason it is light roleplay is because I don't really consider NPC interaction to be RP, though the NPC's are quite interactive. About 10,000 words of dialogue so far. I am looking for feedback, I want to know what to do to make it better. My goal is to have RP take place between PC's, though the module stands on it's own even as a SP solo module.

We don't have a website for isles of peril. Roleplaying is light right now, but it is growing. We are testing while working and trying to make sure that there aren't any bugs in the mod because bugs make the game not fun. Hack/slash is heavy because it should be. In the near future everything will be heavy, but right now some obsticales have formed. Try out the mod cloudy, I think you'll like it.
I looked around Gamespy but didn't find a module called Isles of Peril, where do I find it? You don't happen to have a website?

I toyed with the idea of permanent death. But, it's a bit harsh. The severe death XP penalty is there to make death a real bummer, but not a game-ending event. The module/world is designed for a party, so it is challenging to solo. I only have a few regular players and I hope registering the server on the vault will help those numbers grow so we can have large parties adventuring through it.

Played there a few hours today. First off this is a RP's dream nice starter quest and challenging. Able to own housing food system is a bit tedious but challenging. Death penalty i think is a little too hard for newbs level 1-5 i died once at 2 and lost 1000xp which is alot because the xp is tuned down pretty low. On another note although i had a hard death penalty i only died once in about an hour span thrugh careful planning and the nice bleed system. This pw needs more players its new you will like it. Give Chen a holler in game. I am new myself but i would love to adventure with you!
