Many features: Tons of Quests, over 100 areas. Many racial only areas (Guilds, raidable areas). Many custom monsters, items (including several unique power artifacts). Huge Cities, Towns, and Villages. Advanced Stone of Recall System,Town Portal stones. Full PVP. Many hidden/secret items and areas. High levels gain the ability to enter the outer planes (ie. Elemental Plane of Fire, Water, etc.). Suitable for any class levels 1 - 40. Players are saved through Export every 10 minutes (no save screen delays). Everything respawns with a delay to prevent looting abuse and camping. Custom treasure tables.

Ive played on various game worlds since the beginning and found many of them very well done. This game world of the Lands of Amnestria in my opinion is bar none the best ive ever played. I will be here for a long time to come. Keep up the great work guys. As for a rating, a 10!

The first time around I tried this server it was a tad bit difficult to level up, but incredibly simple the second time when I got everything down. :)

Good: Nice layout, aesthetically pleasing. Monsters don't spawn in mobs and provide good rewards for the effort put in.
Bad: Very difficult to start out, monsters tend to kill you repeatedly if you don't have a party. This wouldn't be so bad if enough people played on the server to party with. NPCs seemed rather noninteractive (for instance, the one that gave me a quest didn't acknowledge giving me the quest on further conversations).
The server seems very solid from a technical point of view and it would definitely merit and benefit from a larger player base. Unfortunately the large hakpak download probably prevents the population from ever reaching any kind of critical mass.

What a great server. contrary to what that other guy posted this mod isnt too hard if you use your head. it's action packed and there are tons of cool custom items I havent see anywhere else.

I'm curious what you found so difficult. You keep all your starting possessions and gold plus experience is completely jacked up for level 1 here. The 3 heal potions you start with should be enough to top you off should you become injured and all newbie zone creatures have be modified to make them easier to defeat for level 1's. So long as you aren't running headlong into the wilderness you're fine. You did talk to the Courtesan upon entering the world, did you not? She points out some prime hunting spots for the new folk.

Like already said. Total fun, total enjoyment, profecionally conducted by the DM's. Better than sex.....*slap from girlfriend* Oh, but make sure you keep the social life in check.... Time in RL does NOT stand still when playing LoA, worst luck.

I find the LoA very challenging without rellying on weapons to progress but through teamwork and wise character development. Hasselhoff has been doing a great job with developing the world and addressing issues that arise.
While certainly not the easiest, it is the most persistent and consistent world I have played on. Enjoy!

well first off I've been playing here for a long time and have seen some pretty remarkable leaps forward. the designer listens to comments from the players and takes them to heart. I've seen so many awesome suggestions become a reality in the past while it's amazing. all in all this is a great place to play if you like to actually be a part of a going world, not just a static one.

I was surfing through the top servers to play on, but I just didn't know what to go on. I've been on so many but a lot of them bore me after awhile. Either its too power gaming, not enough role play, too much role play, too much rules...
But this server seemed interesting to me.
I went on... and I loved it!! The levels are done quite nicely and the people are awesome on the server! The first moment even trying this out, I was already RPing with a shifter ^^; And I think the best part of this is the whole crafting bit and you have to spend forever finding items and wondering if it'll fail or not. The only thing bad about it is it is incredibly hard as level one and just levling up once seems to take forever (though it gets better as you go on). The other bad part... NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE JOIN! The most I've ever seen online at a time is 10 and average it is 2-3. We really need more people for this to be better, I really really recommend this server to all of those who are reading this. Sure the hakpack takes forever and it is really difficult... but its worth it. I"m so addicted to this server...

Crakin fine PW. It's a great server with solid players (which it does need more of - so check it out). The balance between Role Play and non Role Play seems decent. This server is perfect if you have a lot of time on your hands.

Lands of Amnestria has a great balance of action and RP. Absolutely trumps every Persistent World I've played on and I've played on quite a bit. The DMs are very helpful and strive to keep the balance. The creater works very hard on the mod, releasing new content and patches daily. Lands of Amnestria is an excellent world that provides a great challenge for the starting player and the veteran.

WOW! It's all I can say. This is by far the best PW I have ever seen. It's got the right mix of combat, roleplaying and it has a really cool tradeskill system. I was getting to the point where playing on PW was getting boring but this one has brought back my love for the game. The areas are simply stunning. It's persistant, which is more than I can say for most PW I travel to. And it's totally immersive. I was on for 4 hours the other and could believe how fast time flew by. The players here are also first rate. I can't say enough good things!
