I'm wondering if any of the "Middle Earth" mods/PWs have bothered to get permission from the Tolkien estate to use Tolkien's copyrighted intellectual property in their games. I strongly suspect that the answer is No, I just wondered if someone is willing to confirm that.

I dont think restricting player to non spell casting class's is a good idea....if Alex wants to have the power of a wizard ...why shouldnt he..this is a GAME....restricting class's is not the answer and giving player all the chance they can to be gandalf or whoever is up to them....its like the only wizards in arda were Gandalf and 4 others..NOT true...take a read threw MERP sometime and there were many other wizards...probley more like sorcerers and well...NWNs fits in just fine the way it is.

Ardan night to this day does still not exist..and to redo all of NWNs magic systemm..bahaha give me a break....Good Luck..Only one person built this mod using community content and some scripting help....so as far as NWNs goes and ME ...fer now this is as close as it gets...anything close and ull probley have to Pay to Play like EQ :)

Good stuff. Great fun that there's at least one good LOTR PW around. The low-level areas should however be improved a bit, but once you get past them great fun awaits.

Arda is one of the best PW servers that i've been to, aside from the 700+ areas and endless fun, there are also good people to play with. With so many different places and newest addons of areas, i never find myself bored. Although, the dm could listen to the players a little bit more.
