The Lands of Legacy is an exciting new module that has been in development for sometime. Our focus is on roleplaying and adventure and we often have many dm events and quests throughout the week. The module is based in the Forgotten Realms but is centrered around a homegrown contient known as Nune. We have been in testing for sometime now and are rapidly approaching a 'live' status. Our module is highly detailed and has had a lot of work and care put into it. The lead DM / Builder has been playing D&D for over 15 years and is extremely keen to bring a pen and paper experience to your pc. Our world is low magic, but as players grow in power, they may discover lost artifacts of old. We are looking for serious and mature roleplayers to add to our playerbase. We have extremely detailed quests and an ongoing epic scale campaign that will keep the most experienced of players interested. If you are willing to roleplay and are looking for a new experience, please come and check out our server.

Heyah =)
here is the feedback i and my friends collected on Lands of Legacy. We have taken into mind that the server is on beta status and not 100% complete and focused on what is inplemented now. we give a couple of suggestions at the end ^_^;
Generally, LoL gives a very good inpression. The cutscenes at the starts is gold. You get a cinematorial feeling when you first login with thoose, along with the dark and strange areas at the start.

oL is inceredibly detailed and "tight". We have seen many servers with large to huge open, emty areas, escpacially in cities and towns. CEP truly adds -alot- to the general feeling about an area. And the small areas, packed with placebles and NPCs gives the vital feeling of a bustling town.
The many quests is a good thing. Also that one quest leads to another and pulls the PC out of town. It is quests you can "grow with", they stick around a while. excellent!

The hostiles are of good difficulty and well placed. Not to many, not to few aswell as a good "distance" between. Rarely have we been trained by hostile running and attacking while fighting something else. It gives a nice long fight with a nice difficulty and also room and time to use strategy. Splendid!
Most of the players we have met are alright in rp skill. With possibility of sounding as an rp nazi >.< we have to say that some should think a bit of how other characters percive them. We can easily point out who is evil and who is good after only a few days of playing. Evil is a bit to obvious and makes it a little difficult since I, for example, have an idealist goody two shoe tahts set on saving the world.

The areas are good planned, both with the descriptions and the design and distance. The horrible evil cave with worldsmiting demons does not lie 20 meters outside the town gate. You have to travel a bit to find hostiles wich also makes time for travel rp, telling a story, sing a song etc. The descriptions is great, giving a general idea of what the area looks like. Marvelous!
The DM quests, been on one so far, are great. This was a short one but had good content and left alot of questions unanswered. You had a good feeling of actually changing something and the rewards was good.

I would also like to add that I have never played a pen and paper game in my life that I have been allowed to max hp. In all my pen and paper games that I have dm'd, I have never allowed players to re-roll.

I agree, that is more important. But at the same time, our DM did warn him once that maxing hp per level is considered powergaming. At no point did the player below approach me on the matter. I am the Head DM of the world and could have easily have resolved the problem. I have specifically asked Raven to enforce the multiclassing rule and to check people's characters are correct. Powergaming is generally ignored on our server unless it is distruptive to other people's enjoyment. Raven pointed out to the player that by powergaming he would exclude himself from many of our dm'd quests and events which are created for the average level on the server, not the high end.

I started playing this server pertty muc has soon as it came online and I liked it. I was in a quest where me and and five or more other people went on a mission to find out what the drow were doing in this cave, a seal had been broken or somthing. Anyway that was fun and I liked this server, at least untill i met DM raven Greywind.
Everytime I logged onto the server I was annoyed and harassed by Him/her, annoying me about stupid petty things. At first she told me to act more like an idiot because my Half-Orc barbarian has only 8 intelligence. well i thought alright I just wont speak to people much.
Then she deleveled me, gave my exp back and told me to relevel as she said you have to have 5 levels in any single class before you can multiclass, and i was a 3 barbarian/2 fighter. Again I said alright since it was in the rules and relevled to a level 5 Barbarian.
The last time she annoyed me was when I had just got to level six and took a fighter level. She was watching me as she did everytime I logged on and once I had leveled up she teleported me into some dm map. She then said I had to relevel because I had maxed out my HP, this was the last straw. First of all that +blocked+ is not in the rules and nor should it ever be. This nutcase had been bothering me almost the whole time i had played this server and I had had enough so I quit.
She said some +blocked+ about pnp, Well guess what this isnt pnp its neverwinter Nights and People can max out there had and get the most out of there constitution if they damn well want to.
She somehow felt threatend that i had 100 hp and level 6 and obviously is biased or frightened by characters with high con. Also I dont know why i am even bothering to defend myself since i wasnt even breaking any rules, what she was trying to enforce was her twisted Idea, and I say Idea since it isnt a rule and If it somehow becomes one You will have 0 players on your server.
Oh the other thing that brings it down is there are no customisation options and no dyes.

Great server :) DMs put a lot of effort into building it. Updates come nearly every day. Players are excellent.
Lots of great roleplay here. Just needs more player and it'll soar.

Well, I for one adore it or I would not spend so much time there. ^_-
I'm a very critical person and I've been told I have very high expectations toward... well, everything. I agree, so if I enjoy it as much as I do-which is a great deal-I urge other people who love to fully immerse themselves in another world.
As was stated it is rich in detail and those who put their heart and soul into the module have an eye for design, so you won't find any unrealistic nonsense here. Everything has a purpose and everything is done with a great deal of care.
It is low magic and it is designed to be slow leveling, which I feel only helps you savor your character more as you progress and cherish what you find that much more. It genuinely feels very much like pen and paper.
The DMs are active, so it is not like some servers where you have DMs who sit around as PCs refusing to breathe life into the world, and the world is constantly being updated-faster and more so than any other server I've witnessed in the past. All it needs now are some truly dedicated roleplayers to come in and help breathe more life into it, so go try it out. I doubt you will regret it. ^_^
