Rockhome, the first in a series of servers will like to announce the release of our New & Improved server.If you want to feel challanged, and surprised, Rockhome will do just that , with 40+ scaleable encounters and over 400 areas. Rockhome is a land region controlled by dwarves, but other races are welcome. Here your PC has access to ARS, Persistant Houses, Bank system, Death Corpses, Player Tracking, Last Location, and player logging, All using NWNX/APS2. Find it odd that I'm forced to register to even view your forums. Why not make it so that we can view but not post instead? Also, you fail to mention that to play there, one must send in some sort of application, it's on a sidebar, on a site that's set to a res that actually makes it hard to see unless you're scrolling around to view everything? This is a definite turn off. I don't care to waste time with any pw requiring tedious haks unless I know it's worth the hassle first. Being it's a place I have never been, and where I know no players, that's not a possibility. Was under the impression that pw's posting their worlds here were hoping to lure in players, perhaps I was mistaken in that assumption.

This world is well built but do to the fact it is in the CoPaP and seemingly fails to follow the rules of that group regarding the treasure and experience drops needs to be revamped to better fit into the whole of CoPaP.
Spawns are far too difficult and the world in general seems to be tailored to wpic level characters with little or no regard to low levels.

This world has very inconsistent quality. Area layout, roleplaying, and DMing ranges from good to god awful. It's certainly better than alot of PWs out there, though.

Ferus has done an excellent job creating this world. Well laid out and designed. A huge number of automated quests, lots of RP, and also the basic dungeon crawl and monster hacking. It's got it all. Check it out!

Land of Mystara:
Well a seasoned player will become frustrated with the lack of server stability and and a trong DM presence for what is stated as a Heavy Roleplaying server. Alll in all it is a valiant effort to bring a new PW to the Database, but seasoned players will find that the novelty will soon wear off and the server problems that are numerous will surface.

I've been playing on Rockhome just over a month now and everyday I still get surprised at the quality of the server. I've played on a few different pw servers and nothing can compare. The areas are thoroughly well planned out, the topography is stunning, the ATS crafting is wonderful, and the players are the best the community has to offer.

I just have to say additions to the ATS scripts are great. I was would like to get a copy of it to see how items got added to it. I think this PW will be number one if it can keep up the good work so far. I like the balance between the level of difficulty and the exp and treasure. Most of the PW out there don't balance the challenge and reward, but this one does. Example I got my but kick but was able to win and got nice amount of items and gold in return. I did not become rich but was able to get better items for the next time.
Keep up the good work. You should post the changes to the ATS you did it's great.

This server is well worth exploring. And explore you will, for it contains many, many areas in which to adventure. There are many custom items and the ability to create your own items through the crafting system. Above all there is a great community of players. Check it out.

Well, I think the Rock is totally kickin', it has a TON of area and a bunch of custom monsters, which make a fun place to play, the crafting is great and getting better all the time. you owe it to yourself to drop by and take a look, you won't be sorry!!!, and if you see a handsome human male monk named Da'Rau, stop and chew the fat with him, he loves to RP :)

Sorry wrong button uuppps. I havent been to any other PW servers so I really dont know what they are like but I have to say that I really like this one. When an owner of a sever comes on and says hello to the players individually, (after a time of playing on their sever, and he recognizes you) That made me feel welcome to be there. I think the server needs some help with the players (myself included) and their RP, and it can be done with others that are willing to do this. I think the DMs are doing the best they can with whats infront of them, After all the DM is only as good as the players that are there for him to DM for.AS for Ferus, I think that he has done an outstanding job with the running of and managing the server.
If the owner is willing to put up a house for the players of his world, then that has to account for something right? I think this is an excellent place to hang my hat while I'm gaming. there are plenty of servers out that are willing to schell out the super items for their players but there are far less that have the quality and substance to make a good gaming atmosphere, I think this is one of the good ones.I will be staying here for as long as I can cuz I really like it here. Overall good server. The persistant world is vast and of good quality. Epic sums up its size nicely. The server's connection is much better now than it was before meaning that it rarely spikes/timesout. All it needs now is more players and someone to finish the ATS script.

I've been on several PWs but this is home for me. The Dms do a fine job with there tasks, the other players are will to help newbies to an extent but not holding there hands.The high lvl PCs are willing to take low lvls on dangerous quest not for power lvlving as an intro as to teamwork and fair play. The diversity in Pcs is great RP is is emcouraged as it does make the Experience of Rocjholm a most enjoyabl one ensuring the repeat return of players!! Housing is availible along with persistant chests,and other items for example ATS tools can be PC bought and placed in thei Homes. Also PCs are encouraged to Design thier own floorplans within certain guidelines. All in All DoR is a PW that will challenge and entertain as al PW is eveolving daily and with the release of Shadows who knows??? So come vist stay a while maybe this will be your home also :) Zyre

Of all the worlds that I have played on this one is one of the only ones that accually has continuity to it, the people that play there are friendly and always shows support to all that are new to the server, when i first started there, it never dawned on me the scope and vastness of the size and girth of the world, for instance there is the capital of the dwarven kingdom called Rockholm but there isnt just a upper Rockholm, but a lower Rockholm a huge city that is also just as big underground as it is above ground. And the dragons there are accually like a dragon, hard as hell ta kill and the bounty of treasure after a kill is well worth the almost death battle, but these dragons are not just a single player fight , you need the support of at least 5 others in your party which also get nice trinkets from the battle. Along with the capital Rockholm there are 3 minor hamlets surounding lake stahl. O and dont forget that you can also play sub races there also, such as Duergar dwarves, Drow elves + with there own starting areas. and the owner of the server, Ferus is always there to listen to the needs of the players and has been known to bend over backwards to keep the players happy. And lets not forget the vault of wisdom that the DM's of Mystara hold. Excellent plot driven quests that are layed out by experienced DM's. and custom reecipes that create really good items. I can write all day long about rockholm and how wonderfull it is. all i can say is come by sign up and give it a try..........

This server is the best I've played on yet; and I have been playing it for 7 monthes. Not only does it have a the ATS tradeskill system set up but it also has little perks as well. I will never stop playing this server until it is shut down. Why? Because I love it so much.
