Description
Menzoberranzan is an Internet community dedicated to the drow of the Underdark of the Forgotten Realms. The site is primarily based on the computer Multiplayer Role Playing Game: Neverwinter Nights, and the newest incarnation, Neverwinter Nights 2, but the Forums and Articles are full of interesting discussions and information for any Forgotten Realms fan. There is also lots of opportunity for online role playing in the In-Character Role Playing Forum. We have just gone live, and enetered The Silence of Lolth, as described in the War of the Spider Queen series. If you are looking for a well-run game server to play on, or are interested in joining our building team, drop by and introduce yourself, we would be happy to have you!
Sorry for the lack of any recent update here. Our gameworld is indeed moving towards Neverwinter Nights 2, but an early version of our NWN module is occasionally available to play online, community interest determining the extent. The links and info have been updated.
Stop by, and sign up on the all new forums, and stay up-to-date on events and happeneings around the Menzoberranzan Project. If there is enough interest in the NWN1 mod, I can put it up permanently - or until we have a NWN2 server worthy of taking its place.

LlothitePriestess this time I need to address this because your clearly not playing on our server. First up as we have a player application process I would know who you are if you were playing, second level 40 is not achievable on the server, for a drow 18 is max, power leveling is not possible as we have our own experience system. Also I don't know what Broken Spring is?? so if that was a recent game it was not on this server. I'm not sure if everyone else is playing the same server *I've* been playing, but the areas are big and empty (both for RP - which is hard to find these days - and for adventuring) and frankly, given some of the other servers I've seen, they're ugly.
They do have a couple good scripts, but nothing exceptional, and the DM team is seriously non-existant (I've seen exactly three 'plots' in four months there, including the Broken Spring).
I would not recommend this server to anyone looking for Roleplay, especially excellent Drowplay, but if you want to PowerLevel to 40 in a boring and ugly environment, this is definately the place for you! :)

It's a 10 for me. The DMs are very fair and have spent alot of time making the server what it is now. The builders have spent alot of time with the details...it's a well-developed world with strong-roleplayers.

Menzo is a fantastic community and PW module. A must for any drow lover looking for a place to roleplay. The players and DMs are great, the setting is wonderfuly atmospheric, and the stories are so ripe with intrigue you honestly won't know who to trust. Choose wisely and you might just survive to see tomorrow, do not and you become just another statistic.

I've been playing on this persistant world for about 4 months. It is one of the most in depth worlds I have played in. Everyone involved, players and dm's, are great and make Menzoberranzan fun.

Where else can you have fun being evil and living in the Underdark? People are always helpful (even with evil motives) and alot of time and effort went into making this beautiful world come to life.

This PW is completely original, has legendary builders and DMs, and has limitless potential for drow roleplay. Its one drawback, and it isn't really one, is that its locale is limited.
