Midgard is an NWN server that has been in the workings for over a year. It is a persistant world which allows for full PvP (though it has to be RolePlay related) and the characters can level up to lvl 40. It is set in the world of the Nordic legends. The module takes place mostly on the borders of Midgard and Jotunheim, where the world of Men and Jotnar continually clash together. Adventurers try to make a living out of fighting for either side, trying to make peace, trade or even turn bandit. Currently you start in Midgard but Jotunheim will soon be ready for play. We use NWN:SoU/HotU 1.65, the CEP 1.51 and PRC 2.2d haks as well as a small custom hak used to unite those two (and add goats and sheep). The world has a special crafting system that uses the three basic crafting skills to allow characters to craft their own magical items. New .hak and .tlk files needed. Have to dig through forums to find what you need and links to them. Plus you need a .hak file that one post on forums says is old and you don't need anymore heh. Ah bugger, logged in and it feels like I'm running through mud everywhere I go. Probably bad ping as I'm halfway around the world from these nice folks. Anyhoo, I really like the non-FR setting and gods and will come back and try this pw again.
