No, this is definitely an action server. Especially in recent years, the level of RP has basically vanished, and it's become a haven for hack 'n slash gaming. The "wait an hour" for resting is perfectly legitimate. As long as you play semi-intelligently and use potions and healing kits effectively the resting time limit should never become an issue. But, everyone's tastes differ, and if waiting for an in-game hour to rest isn't for you then it isn't for you.
Looks like a nice world. I do question the logic of not being able to rest more than once an hour. Perhaps it should not be listed as an action server. That kind of boring waiting around should be kept to RP servers. I do like RP servers but when I come to an action server I actually want action.

Very well scripted and thought out. This is a very unique world and you are missing out if you do not at least try what Alboria has to offer.
Excellent PW. Plenty of quests and areas to keep your character busy for a long time. Friendly player base with little to no lag. Highly recommend!

My friend and I have tried *a lot* of PWs, searching for one that's well balanced, with plenty of quests, and most of all -- fun. We found Alboria. This is by far the best PW we've played. The quests are well scripted and interesting. There's plenty to do for the Hack-&-Slasher, too. This world is EPIC. The DMs and core group of players are friendly and helpful. Best of all -- tere's no real restrictions. That is, you can play the game the way it was meant to be payed. I hate PWs that requre me to take 20 levels of Sorc before I can multiclass. Alboria uses the rules right from the box. The builders thought of everything, too. Need to travel from one city to another far away...why walk? Hop on a dragon and take a ride there. Plenty of custom items (but not uber.) I can't say enough about this world and the job the builders did. 10 out of 10!! Check it out -- you won't be disappointed.

I just started on Alboria, but I love it so far....the scripts for crafting and the death script are awesome... the quests are very well done, and balanced for character levels well....the monster are just hard enough to make you sweat if you are a little lower than you need to be...my hat is off to Alboa....great job...Alboria has everything I love in a server :)

This is a wonderful server filled with well thought out expansive areas. The roleplay is not hardcore but the questing more than makes up for it in my opion. I have played on this sever for awhile now and have had a very exciting time. Thanks for all your hard work Alboa, You have done well!!!!!!!

I played here for months awhile back, I see it's still going strong and with a bigger player base than ever. I think I'll drop in again for awhile.
Wonderful server with extremely creative quests. The landscapes and the custom scripting and items are top-notch.
