This is a very friendly, consistently evolving, well balanced and highly polished world. The community is strong, there is generally 24/7 DM cover, and all the DMs run interesting quests and mini games.
Levelling past 40 is a very interesting experience, and makes for some of the most powerful and flexible PCs and encounters you'll find on any server, and the variety of equipment available makes all classes viable.
Finally, all gameplay types are welcome, and suggestions and offers of new content are welcomed from all.

Overture is an amazing server. I haven't developed a character far enough to use the level 40+ script yet, but I find myself constantly coming back to the server to test out this or that idea. The regulars are very friendly and openhanded. All in all, a remarkable server.

AFew Good Reasons to visit us
1) It is a friendly server " we share loot at the end of an area or adventure via a die roll everyone has a chance for everything"
2) DM's are active in the game as both players and DM.
3) We help each other out but please no begging.
4) the Overture Team support and encurage player to build and submit areas to be added to the sever.
5) DMs will randomly run quests with different rewards at the end " they let you know what they the reward will be just before the quest starts"
6) Overture has its own guild and forum for players to voice there oppinions or concerns "players and DMs wish for everyone to jion it helps build a better sever"
7) Overture is constantly under constuction new areas and items are added regularly. Sometimes faster than you can find them.
8) For those that are in to pure power the sever has a plethera of +12 gear
9) If you happen to make a mistake building your PC jion the guild and the DMs will grant you a relevel to whatever extent you think you need.
10) The sever has teamspeak and that is were the party is "fun for all ages there"

One of the best modules I've Played and I've played on over a hundred...EXCELLENT use af the Devastating Critical skill, so many sites just nuke it, not these guys...extremely challenging, seemingly limitless areas for characters of all levels...great item and NPC development...freequent DM involment and active ongoing updates and modifications...only drawbacks are the lack of random drops and support for subraces but as I understand it these issues are being addressed...CHECK OUT TODAY!!!

Overture is an outstanding server, and great community. I have played with overture for almost a year, having bounced from server to server looking for a home. From the first day I played I was welcomed and helped by the veterans. There have been alot of changes over the past year and updates. It is a fairly new server that can boost of over 350 areas from low level to uber levels. A great facit of the server is an over 40+ script which prevents that lvl 40 stoppage or even boredom. And with weekly updates adventuring and exploring keeps you at the monitor for hours that turn to days. My favorite part of the server is the community, which for me has felt like family from day one, the friendship and friendliness is a tremendous asset for this server. The DM's are open to ideas and suggestions and listen to the players and play side by side most of the time. The balance of the server is one that is ever changing to maintain equality of races and players, with awesome equipment that I have a tendency to still drool over after all this time. There are several DM events weekly for fun and prizes, where one may even win a house to call his own. It also boosts a great supportive forum, for suggestions that have become part of the gameplay, or ideas and comments. If you are looking for adventure and fun you will find it on this server, powerlevelers like myself will be will find the training halls fun. Or if you enjoy communities that are friendly and welcome you come visit overture, and you may make it your home as I have. Overture is my home! After searching for a server with a balance of hack and slash and just plain fun I finally found it. The DMs are wonderful, the players are great, the areas are challenging, and you never run out of things to do.

Overture also has a teamspeak server which allows for easy communication between players. The DM's of the server are great. The equipment you find is balanced as the DM's have rules on item creation, regardless of your equipment you will find a challenging fight.
It is somewhat overwhelming for new players as many of the areas are for higher level characters and unless you talk to an experienced player it is not easy to figure out where you should go. Teamspeak makes it easy to talk to the regulars, so don't be afraid to ask questions. Also the size of Overture makes it hard for players to know how to get to certain areas, hopefully more signs might be placed to give the player an idea of where they are going. Getting the right equipment for your character is somewhat difficult for low level characters but many players are more than willing to help you find it.

Definitely the best NwN Modification I've ever played, the Over Level 40 Script and very friendly DM's, as well as...interesting...custom equipment, makes for a gaming experience absolutely second to none.

I gotta say this server is one of my favorites. It's huge, and despite the quick leveling and powerful items, it will take you months to do everything and see every area. Despite this, it doesn't lag the way I've seen some of the other big servers in the PW Action tab do. Add to that the incredibly friendly and relaxed group of players and I really can't think of anywhere I'd rather play. With the +40 script, magical damage, ab, and damage done by fighters all increas as you venture beyond the 40 levels alotted by Bioware, so you really never
