This ain't your grand-daddy's version of PoA. We have been editing it for over two years now, adding quite a bit of custom content, including 100's of new areas, items, bad guys and a few other little bells and whistles.

Looks like you guys have done a lot of work on this. Great job! My eyes lit up when I read this. Honestly though, I was a little dissapointed when I read the death penalty part.
Maybe its just me, but I'd nerf the item loss thing and the 5 minutes wait time. If you're looking to fill your servers, the death system as it is may unfortunately discourage people from hanging around.
How about using a death system simlar to wow. Running back to your corpse in spirit form. imo, loss of XP let alone an item can leave a bitter taste in ones mouth.
Forgive me if I'm misguided and please feel free to enlighten me if I've missed something. Best of luck with your server :)

Good server by far. And well I like the fact that people on the server are more towards helping you than leaving you stranded and dieing left and right.

Are you tired of throwing down your mouse in disgust, muttering disapproving commentary on the inconsiderate and/or unsportsmanlike play of the module into which you just dumped more than a few hours of your life trying to build a rapport within the community, only to discover that the community in question turns out to be filled with crass, vulgarity-spewing jerks and backstabbing louts? If the answer to any one of these questions is "Yes, yes, YES, for goodness sake, isn't there a single NWN server out there that is family-friendly, where I will experience a refreshing sense of camaraderie, and where I will actually enjoy both the game and the people, without having to worry about hitting control-alt-delete every three minutes to prevent my five year-old from learning words that, when repeated in preschool will have CPS knocking politely on my door for a friendly checkup of the positive developmental environment I am providing, well then the [uBp] Path of Ascension server is your cup of tea! The people are friendly, the module is constantly evolving, user input is gladly and gratefully accepted, and there are more monsters than those, at which, you can shake a stick! If you have managed to make it thus far without experiencing this module, dont despairyou can find it in the A action sectionit comes before the Bs, Cs, Ds, and Fs! The [uBp] Path of Ascension module is constantly updated and tweaked to enrich the experience for both new and seasoned players alike. The module is not difficult to learn because there are so many people willing to help newcomers.
It's worth it to try it and nearly everyone stays. Those that don't stay almost always come back. It's just that good.
Awesome!!!!!

This is a great, family-oriented module, whether you're there for a quick solo run through some of the finely tuned and custom built areas, or you're wading through enemies in one of the main quests with your party.
There's a lot of fun to be had, with plenty of good folks to keep it interesting.

This version of POA has been modified in just about every facet. Updated on a regular basis, new concepts, friendly players who make you feel welcome. It's a place I've been proud to call home for almost 2 years now.

I originally started playing NWN online on the AW Path of Asscension server. However, after playing this server, I was and still am hooked. If you are looking for an exciting mod with a fresh portrayal of the classic PoA story, check this server out!

[uBp] PoA is full of very friendly and helpful players. People go out of their way all the time to help out others. There is an excellent group of DM's and enforcers who keep everything moving smoothly. And most importantly, the loot is to die for. :D

Clan [uBp] has done a wonderful job of updating the standard Path of Ascension module. In fact, content in the module is updated regularly. Even people intimately familiar with the PoA storyline will find the changes both enjoyable and challenging! DM and Enforcer staff are regularly online to ensure a good time is had by everyone.
