well I am back on T2, I do like it. But I do hope the dms are better then t1. I know they been their for awhile. But old servers, well alot of Dm get mouthly and I see the server grows big. Just I hope Dms don't get tired of hearing PC's. Then don't listen no more. Not to be Rude, I just hope this server dosn't start to be like that. Because I do like it and I know a few people here from T1, just hope their is better DMs : ) its seems it so far, and I hope the best

I love this server. I've player here quite a while, and while it *IS* an uberserver, it's one of the best ones I've found. Your character will have a great time getting going, expecially since he took out the 'Training Areas' which were basically busy work in exchange for auto-leveling you to 5 on entry. The DMs, expecially Thell and Mira, are great - bugs get fixed in record time and they actually listen to the players. My only complaint is the temptation to load your characters after your first one up with high-level equipment from the start, it can ruin the lower levels of the server. While this equipment is needed in the epic range, a level 5 running around in the best of the items means most of the time you don't even need potions. This isn't an issue if you don't seed your new characters.

Well Trinity and Avalon (now Asgard)have joined together to form a super server. Things are still being worked out, but the change is good so far.

This world is truly the best Action Persistant I have found, abd I've looked. Active DM's (and creative, friendly, helpful player base w/o pandering to lazy (do my character for me)types of players and first ever (to my knowledge) world to make the Player Resource Consorium's hak work with CEP. For those less adventuresome or more purist there is also a non-PRC server. Beautiful work, thank you to Thell and everyone who helped make this possible.

The best server ever! Great community, wonderful loot drops and tons of sweet areas. Experience points are rewarded fairly to parties, such that party travel is not discouraged. See my post in nwvault's description page for full description.

This server is by far the best server I've ever played on. It starts you of hasted, which is a major plus as gameplay is quick. The forge allows a true customization of items, and theres always a place to spend your loot. Most servers that I have found offer little to spend loot on, making the accumulation of gold a bit empty.
In addition to the gameplay, the user-base on the system is full of people who are friendly, and finding parties is never an issue. But you are not limited to needing a party to explore, as areas are balanced to the level of your character - creature spawns are dependant on the character's level, so the areas in a sense change and grow more difficult and rewarding as your character progresses. Also, the XP division between party members is set up in a way which does not negatively affect party-travel.
Customizing your character has never been easier, either. It seems any class has equal potential to become strong, as the rewards for the quests consist of any possible weapon or armor configuration (depending on the quest). So an archer may recieve an uber-longbow or a wizard an uber-staff, all possible weapons are equally balanced and the choice is the quest-takers.
The only complaint I have about this server is that there are no undead-locations such as crypts, at least none that I have found. But new areas seem to be added regularly, and already there must be hundreds and hundreds of them... I know that I have not explored half of what is available, and I have been playing RoL off and on for many months.
It may take an hour or two to really get a sense of what the server has to offer, but it is time well-spent. Anyone searching for a server offering quests, items, hack N slash, and a peaceful community should give some time exploring the Realms of Legend.

I realize it wasnt an attack.. let me try to reflect on a few of the things you said...
[1- It's a totally unbalanced server. They start you off with equipment that in a normal NWN game you might potentially get at level 15 and up. They also start you up with 100000gp. The armor I spawned into the server with gave me haste and a plus to ALL stats (no armor bonus).]
It's more of an Uber server, like Trinity and Mirent Tusk, we do this to promote challenge and gameplay.. the higher level monsters are insanely hard and in a normal nwn game wouldnt even be possible to be destroyed.
[2- The rules are a little harsh. Considering that the game rules have been modified immensly (extra XP for killing monsters, ID'ing items is only 15gp ...) being told that you will be baned of the first glitch exploiting offence WITHOUT warnning might be a little severe as knowing what is a glitch or what is a modification of the game rules is rather difficult.]
The whole ban thing isnt really there to scare people away it was more put there to scare the few exploiters we already have.. We're changing that in the next update on the server we do :)
[3- There seems to have been alot of effort put into the server. Lots of detail, lots of CEP equipment and the likes.]
Thanks :)
[4- They also start you next to 2 levelling dungeons so you can go beat up on monsters and gain levels. My suggestion would be just level the players to the level you want them to be at the start. I think I got hit once while going up to level 3 abd I did not really care since I found on a skeleton I killed in one shot a cloack of regen 1.]
We had originally thought of just putting people to 5th lvl but we decided to let them toss some dmg at a few skelly's and orcs.. you get to 5th pretty quickly so it's really just as spot to test out some stuff.
[5- monsters are spawned with triggers so if you are planning on having an archer, you might want to reconsider. Orks (and Skeletons) just spawn out of nowhere and sometimes the spawns come back rather quickly. now this was in the 2 tainning areas so who knows what it's like outside the city walls.]
on the rest of the server we try to keep my spawns out away from the trigger far enough so that archers have a chance.
[All in all, good try guys but one problem with servers that start you off uber is trying to maintain a balance. I hope you keep working on it and get it eight. Good luck.] Balance with a uber server is alot of work let me tell you.. you end up basically crippling Spellcasters in the higher levels as everything is immune or resistant to their stuff.. We (the Dev's and DM's) came from more Uber servers like Mirent Tusk and Trinity and Hall of Worlds.. so we're trying to keep in the Uber spirit of things :)

Logged in quickly and here are my first impressions.
Please note that I do NOT say any of this as an attack on anyone and that maybe playing the game a bit more might change my mind on the following points ... but i doubt it.
