When you die your spirit is sent to the Fugue Plane where you can await help from your friends or ressurect yourself at the Fountain of Life. A level 1 character loses no Experience when they die and can use the Fountain of Life to ressurect their self at no penality. At level 2 and above a player can be ressurected by another player (Cleric) or NPC Cleric that will want a donation based on the dead character's level, with no Experience penality. If a player uses the Fountain of Life they will suffer a Experience penality. Upon death you will lose gold and equipment based on your level.
AnchorDeep is a large PW that started running back 24/7 in March 2003. Since then we have had many changes to our world based on player interventions. In March 2003 the server was consumed by an Open war pitting the City of Algorin against the Village of Englen. With various rogue orc tribes roaming the land making matters worse. You can read about the first 300 years and what the players did below in our content guide. AnchorDeep offers custom Prestige Classes and subraces. Plus many other unique features. We currently have over 1000 registered players. And the server is updated at least once a month. Players can even build and roleplay changes to an area. That will take effect in the next update.

Nothing great. DM's like to pop spawns in front of you so you die and lose exp. Also the astmosphere is nothing great. So much typos in signs and quests.

Boo..... Does anyone try a server before giving him hall of fame ? DMs on this server dont even know what a DM has to do and 1/3 of players are smartasses... BOOOOO

I've tried a lot of servers but nothing matched the greatness of AD. After finding this place I never joined another server.

Wow..what can i say i have played on a few servers But AD is where i started and where i love to play the RP is absolutly amazing and DM's do a fantastic Job. This is infact the greatest Server ive ever had the oppertunity to play on.

There is no better server out there, fact! I have played quite a few server's before I came to AD (Anchordeep)....that was three years ago and I am still on AD.
There is so much in the way of RP possiblilies, DM Quests, player run RP...its endless truely.
Lots of custom spells and scripts, unique PvP system and lots of great people willing to help you out if you so require it. DM's are not perfect but nor are the player's so its a trade off really on that aspect. My interaction with them has been fair but with the changing of the DM team its gotten even better.
So if you want to find an online home check out AD I am betting you, like I, will not leave...because there isn't anything out there that beats AD!

A GREAT server which Ive been playing a while now and am stuck on. I'l never leave it for another one as I doubt there is better.
Rp is excellent and everything is just excellent, aswell as a pretty slick pvp system.

One of the greatest servers if not the greatest server that I've ever played on. there are so many dimentions to this realm that no matter what you play you will be involved and interacted with. I know for a fact that all those who are adept in the server will give new commers advice and tips and help in anyway (within In Character capability) to make your stay a welcome one. I know I'm living proof of that!! Come come, I don't want to be the only newbie :P

Well-done rp world of the low-magic and xp variety. Unfortunately I can't get past the server lag and huge xp losses upon death to really want to play any of my chars more than a few levels.

Hey all,
The server for the forum and game were physically moved to another place in RL from 20th Dec. They did say that it will be up as soon as possible, at least two days.

Amazing summary from someone I NEVER played with. A drow...terrorizing the surface...certainly not as believeable as a good aligned, half-dragon, half-tiefling, with a charisma of 12 who tries to cyber every female PC on the server...but hey we arent all RP paragons. LMAO...thx for the laff.

Very well done. DM's are active and fair. The scripting is impressive with great custom content without a heavy hak download. Many bonus prestige classes with a great player base that rally knows how to role play.

It is just the best server I have seen in my entire time of playing NWN. I play on Anchordeep for a long long time now. I have learned much about RP on this server and I still love it, and I bet I remain loving it for a long time as well.

AD provides both the fun and adventure everyone is looking for. There are many custom spells that do wonders for the spellcasters as well as some spells were nerfed for balancing. It is a well handled well executed server from top to bottom. The Roleplay is phenomenal but like anything as good as you make it. Possibilities are endless and the flexible DMs provide a warming atmosphere.
There is a subdue feature for PvP, so no gear or xp is lost when you are killed, which enhances RP in hostage or other situations, or you can opt to go full PvP to kill people. This was done for many reasons but also being a true RP server the Challenge Rating has been taken away so each character is evaluated appropriately. Powergamers and PKers are watched and taken care of. This is the greatest server.
Anyone that complains about this server is only mad because they were banned or are immature. Think about it, who wants to be negative, the people that typed those negative comments played for over a year here almost 2...they must have loathed this server. (sarcasm)
The server is the best and although this is not the forum,
I have played with the screen name 6_loverboy_9 for over a year and he is a certifiable dick who does not know what he is talking about. His warped RP-NAZI like style was a turn off and I am glad he left. Yeah I said it, *blammo*.
