Enter the epic world of high adventure were the battle between good and evil is layered ten fold. Do you join one of the civilised houses of Truscal, become a treasure hunter and dungeon delver, join the dimensional traveling Culuz or the ever malevolent Drow of the underdark. A full pantheon and historic timeline to intergrate your character in. Dozens of quests, 100's of unique items, a central campaign that you can join on either side or stay neutral, faction conflicts political and pvp based. Own your own house, temple, castle. Create minotaurs, orcs, goblins and many other demi-human races as your player character. A reward system that works for stories, storylines and improving the server content/history as well as good roleplaying. New content added all the time, full dm support and excellent roleplaying/mature player base.

Visited a month ago now and decided to stay.
A lot of thought has gone into the areas and encounters, well balanced play for all classes (including rogues).
Reward system for good RP, storyline and plot contributions.
I came from a hardcore rp server and although it's a lot more free here (although I am begining to think this is a good thing) everyone I have met has been happy to RP.
The weekly regular events are a true blessing and I haven't enjoyed myself online for some time.
Definately worth a look if you want to have fun and enjoy some rp as well.
From my experience the areas are balanced for solo or party play, but some areas are designed purely for parties so you won't be able to solo everywhere, party play is encouraged.

An excellent PW, well designed, well managed and varied. For newbies or experienced players I'd say Algia suits all.
The DMs are attentive and inventive and, perhaps most importantly, accessible!
The other players I've met are extremely friendly and, within just a few hours of joining this world I'd already been chatting with long standing players who were happy to advise and guide.
After spending some time hunting for a UK based PW that was worth attention this one beats all, for me.

Lots of well designed and thought out areas, plenty of custom items and balanced play for all classes.
Player rewards system for good RP, storyline and plot contributions. Rewards can be traded for custom items etc.
Not hardcore RP, but there are still great players and a large and friendly DM team.
Very high magic, and some great toys to play with ;)
Lots to see and do, and the world is constantly growing.
Player factions including Noble Houses add extra depth, and over 200 current areas and a further server in development offer hours and hours (and hours) of play.
Well worth a look, bring your best attitudes and you will enjoy.
Death system is forgiving, 50xp per lvl on respawn, but a 50% drop of gold. So... don't die, or party up.
All areas are balanced for solo or party play, but some areas are just not do-able on your own.
Take a look, you won't be disappointed.

Very big, always finding new stuff to do here. Dont have to run around for a half an hour to find things fun for your level.

The lands of algia are far and wide, there is plenty to explore and it is suitable for those who wish to follow the light and goodnes as well for those who canot bare to stay in the light.
you can literally walk the lands underground from one end of the realm to another but beware... it is not for the faint hearted adventurers to try, so gather some friends and come on over to our fare community and make your own mark here... you WILL be welcome =)

Definitely a world to CHECK out, the DM's have put alot off effort and hard work in the world.And it show's !!!
A intresting twist on Adventure and PvP is the cherry on the cake.

I really like this server.
You have different factions which are run by players itself.

A fine group of experienced and responsible roleplayers here. Solid, experienced, devious ;) DM staff. If you want to explore complex, adult themes of light and darkness, do some fun RP, or just break some heads, you have a place here. (We do have an occasional penguin problem, so um... watch your step. :D)
