Description
LOTR - Finding Smeagol Persistent World based on Tolkien's Middle-earth, set in the 3rd Age, approximately one year before the events of the Fellowship of the Ring. Module contains over 500 zones and all unique items appropriate to Middle-earth. This module was developed with both the CEP and PRC. A merge Hak is required that also contains music from the Fellowship of the Rings, Conan the Barbarian, Gladiator, and Braveheart. The server is very challenging and uses item level restriction. This a full PvP world but 'grievers' are not welcome. Be prepared to be blown away with the attention to detail and the hours of adventuring that are possible in this accurate depiction of LOTR. You can decide whether you aid the forces of Good or Evil in an Epic Quest to find Smeagol and his secrets about the One Ruling Ring. As Far as I know this server is no longer up. There websight is down also. I wish they would upload the Module I would be more than glad to host the server. It was the best server I have ever played Bar none:)

An amazing server that takes both sight and sound into account. Truely playable. This server shows the attention to detail and talent that sould be used to develope all servers.

This server has endless playability. With the PRC, the character builds are vast, and finding a favorite is tough.
(and who can resist the Lord of the Rings theme?)
Addictive, detailed, entertaning, and an insanely pleasing replay value. Guilds, etc.

Fantastic game....just got my first character to 40th lvl. DM's do a great job of offering special events for the community and getting people involved.

Wow, this is the greatest LotR server I have found so far. I have been playing on a strict RP server for a couple of years and when I needed a break from it, I found this place, thanks to my brother who goes by Tabu Omen (and various variations of Temper Clan). The creators have done an amazing job at balancing the PRC and keeping the playability high even for an average character builder like me :)

An excellent realization of Middle Earth.
Only thing needed is a few more quests that change alignment Lawful Chaotic and Good Evil. Especially the Lawful/Chaotic scale. One bad decision or a careless party member can change the direction of your character.
Other than that I am very pleased to be a member of this world.

I liked the fact that all of the PRC clases were unlocked. My main problem was the wide open nothing there space. I'm an adventurer and not an explorer so the endless slow trodding across wide open nothingness kinda bored me. Other than that it was a desnt server. There was never over 8 players online when I was but 2 of them we friendly and helpful. I only played to 7th level so the higher end content might be faster paced.

Not for the uber twinks out there, but if your into well thought out storylines, addictive quests, expansive areas, diverse foes, prc classes, great support by DM's and literally thousands of possible combinations this world is exactly what your looking for....join us now and begin to understand what NWN and LOTR worlds really are!
