Welcome brave adventurers...welcome and be greeted... Your first step has begun, so tighten your grip upon your weapon, give light to that torch in your off-hand, and follow your thoughts into the depths of the void... You begin your descent into the bowels of the land, torch light casting strange shadows upon the rough, chiseled, stone walls. The shadows dance above your head...perhaps it's a trick to the eye, but the shadows seem to beckon and call you further into the blackness...
Head Pak created by the persistent world of Montlethia Under Siege. This pak gives more head options for PC to choose during PC creation. People that do not have this pak will appear headless to those that don't. Optional
This is the patched heads for the 1.66 update. Lisa was kind enough to do this for us at The Fold. I tried contacting Sebastian before posting this but never got a response. Posting it to make things easier on our Players. Just unpack this into the Override Directory, replaceing files when it asks you to.
Fold Potrait Pak Addendums. Optional. These paks have been compiled and from submissions from community members. When we get enough requests, additional paks are created. This pak is in addition to the original 'Nail�on PC Portrait Pack 1'.

The links to the hakpaks don't seem to be working! I get a timed out message for the 'Nailaeon: Area Pak 2' pack and the 'Nailaeon: Mobs' one. I have been trying, on and off, for the last 24 hours.

The world is immersive and the attention to detail is impressive. The mod itself has a coherent layout that works well and is aesthetically pleasing.
The implementation of CRN here is well thought out and works because of that. CRN has the potential to become a time sink, but the balance of the recourses themselves and the interaction of the crafted goods into the player driven economy go far to avoid that situation here.
The DM�s and Admin have, and do, in my experience, listen too and value the opinion of their players and seem to have a good clear vision on what their PW is about and how to run it smoothly.
The immersion is superb. None of the hcr-ish elements jut out at you to reduce playability or inflict themselves as nuisances.
Levelling is relatively slow, and dying can get frustrating if you head out into the wilderness with an invincibility complex. This was something that took me a little while to get used to, and yes, can be a little daunting when you first start out. My advice here is that your characters life is never worth whatever exp you might have got from a kill. Learn to take things slow and focus on your RP and adventure, the levels will come as they do.
Over all, the initial leap into the world can be a little daunting, and the first few levels can be kinda rough, but the experience is rich with immersion and potential once you take the plunge.

Nailaeon is an amazing RP experience! The storyline is complex and evolving and allows players to really be part of it. The graphics are awesome, with some spectacular tilesets. Admins have been wonderful, with a very supportive community, and I'm fairly new so have needed a lot of help. And players have been great, both welcoming and committed to RPing. I've tried some other worlds and have been really happy to find this one.

Warning: Don't enter The Fold if you don't have some time - it's very addictive.
I've been playing here for over a year and rarely miss a day. The players and characters make living here a wonderful experience - like sitting around the gaming table with your friends. I am usually greeted by someone every time I log in.
However, adventuring alone, crafting, and going on DM led adventures all make this world a place where you can have fun no matter what mood you're in.

Excellent expierence. For the most part the players and Admin. are great. The only downside to this erver is the small player base. The players who are "full time" know the world up and down and have multiplle characters. Something which I believe is a very bad idea. Other than that if your looking for RPing, or just a place to have some fun solo, this is it. Hats off to all the hard work that these creators put into this project and they continue to do so everyday from what I have seen.

The fold is a great community and a great PW. Nice people, and serious RP'ers. The world itself is huge and beautiful. The DM's are helpful and great at what they do. Can't say enough good things about this PW.

This is a very well made and very well handled PW. It has outstanding and very original areas, a awesome crafting system, a very well dedicated team of creators scripters ect. And the best part about it is if you want to add something you just have to make it and send it in and theres a good chance of having it added. This worlds community is very good. As in all the players know all the players. It is just a great server and the best i have ever played.

The Fold is a great, RP heavy, low-magic world to play on. The staff is great and does everything they can to constantly enchance the experience. The other players are tons of fun to RP with, and are plenty willing to help out the new folk. I began playing on The Fold in March, and it quickly became the PW I played on to the exclusion of all others. Come try it now to get a feel for the place before the planned expansion!

This world has captured my interest for the past two months. The crafting system is addictive, adventuring solo or with friends are both enjoyable, and the people involved are very special. It is, after all, the players who make the world in D&D, and these people make role-playing a high priority and offer frienship as well.

Been playing about two months. I like the set up of the world, minimal magic, original crafting functions, role playing aspect. The long time players are friendly and helpful, no pker's or griefing, geared toward party cooperation, but soloing is fine (albeit dangerous for low level). Problems are quickly addressed. Large, visually pleasing areas. Development team is constantly tweaking and making improvements and listen to player imputs. Alot of custom content.
Overall, it has been a very enjoyable experience.

I have been playing on this server for several months now and have found it to be the most well run, best role played and friendliest server available. The players as well as the Development team are all top notch, and willing to help out new players with but a seimple tell sent to them. Keep up the great work guys you have a player for as long as you continue to run the server!

The Fold is a masterpiece. it has taken almost 2 years to turn out this Gameworld, but the efforts are well worth it. with stunning views, massive amounts of area to explore, and the quality of those who visit the place.. Remarkable, truly remarkable.
