Description
This is an action oriented persistent world heavily based on MMORPG style gaming. It was built and designed by Kaymus (aka Sartre) who created Borderlands and was Lead Builder for Daggerford, which were both Roleplaying based worlds. Now, he is trying a different style. Taking the best of both worlds his new project is coined: Action with a Twist. The challenge is great, the encounters and treasure make sense, the progress for your character is steady and rewarding, and most of all you don't have to devote countless hours to have fun.

The Road Less Travelled showed Kaymus' extensive design experience. It was a very well-organized world, with everything action gamers needed to get hooked. Progression was balanced and kept a small, dedicated group of players coming back.
Unfortunately, the world failed to attract a large enough player base to really take off. The last module Kaymus was working on before he retired showed a lot of promise, but he eventually lost interest and the server was taken down.
If you like his "Action with a twist" approach, I highly recommend keeping an eye out for his future work - should he decide to come out of "retirement"
