The Savage Lands is a persistant world featuring the CNR Tradskill system, and a modified HCR v3.1 ruleset. It is loosly based on the Forgotten realms campaign setting and has over 400 interesting and visually elaborate areas for characters to explore. Most encounters are level scaled with some areas reserved for high level characters. hencheman are avalible for hire and are free to first level character. some NPC Quests are in place with more being added weekly.
We are Primarily a ROLEPLAYING server and staying in character as much as possible is a guideline but not a hard & fast rule. Talk in party mode or tells is up to the players/partys descretion but widespread shouting not related to quests/roleplay reasons is disgouraged. there is also plenty of action for those who just like pitting their combat prowess aginst all manner of foes.

This server has beautifully designed areas with DMs that seem to be great at developing and leading adventures. Of all the servers I have played in, this one is at the top of the list, seriously.

A world with eye for detail, verry wel put toghether with lots of action and enough RP adventure. Unfortunatly it has not manny players.

I have been playing here. Very good world, and needs players. Have only found one area not linked, but the rest of the worlk is fantastic. Made great looking areas and some nice scripting for specail things. This mod has been merger in with another on another server, but lost a lot of it's flavor in the transfer. I for one will still be visiting this land.

Last week we had some network problems that have been solved. if you experienced serious server lag last week that has been fixed :)
