Very few Gnomes in the Warhammer world. Also, most commoners are unable to distinguish Half Orcs from Orcs, and guards will often attempt to arrest Half Orcs not wearing helmets to cover their faces.

No application required. Just log in and join us! We prefer mature roleplayers, but we are not 'roleplay nazis'. All we ask is that you try and fit in with the theme and background of the world and limit you ooc speak to tells as far as possible.

Death
Players can aquire 'fate points' through quests and remarkable deeds. Each fate point counts as a free respawn and is used automatically on death, or the player may voluntarily use a fate point to raise a friend to life. After all fate points are gone the player will loose 100xp per level on respawn but will not loose a level. A deity-specific bindstone system is used to allow players to determine their respawn point, and their starting position after server-reset.

WFRP 'The Empire' is a server based on Games Workshop's Warhammer campaign setting and their PnP Roleplaying game Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. WFRP 'The Empire' is set in a land not dissimilar to early renaissance earth - to find out more follow the links on this page or read the readme.
I guess that Dreamwarder should post this info but...we are back up and running (most of the time) in NWN1.

I have tried many online games but they all have failed to keep me hooked in the same way as traditional pen and paper RPGs do. Warhammer is a great world to play in so finding a mod dedicated this world of perilous adventure and chaos was just nirvana. The players and DMs are very interactive and social. I wanted to be apart of this like minded community, so I did!
The expansive (and expanding) world is rich in detail and soaks up the flavour of the chaos invested background that give it a truely harsh and gritty world to survive in.
Love it, join it, play it!

This server will be reborn in NWN2 - look out for the WFRP "The Empire" Beta when the game is released.

Great world, and getting bigger all the time. I play a couple of hours on it every night. As they say in Altdorf, Wunderbar.
