Player Requirements
While there is no actual age requirements, players need to be able to maturely and cooperatively roleplay and interact with the other players and DMs in the community. Raathi is very community-oriented, so while the characters may be killing eachother, we don't see the need for the players to be as well.
The World of Raathi, a land of many factions, peoples and gods, is set in a unique, non-prefab campaign, setting all it's own. We have a friendly and helpful player and DM community to help anyone get started, and we welcome any roleplayers from people new to the game to hardcore DnD veterans. Website and forums are up again, server is still in Beta though. That doesn't stop the playing though as there are lots of areas to explore and characters to meet and even active DMs doing quests and putting Role in the Play.

I have been NWn for only a few months, and have tried a few servers but keep coming back to Raathi, mainly because of the players and the RP. To me Raathi has everything, depending on my mood, I can always find someone to tak to, or if I feel like an simple bit of critter bashing that can be easily found too, and usually you can combine both. The DM's are great, they are full of surprises when you least expect it, and at present they are running a storyline that is affecting the whole world, so my char(s) are getting involved in world shaping events, which is surprising as I have only been on the server a comparatively short while.
So give Raathi a try you won't regrete it.

I have been playing Neverwinter Nights since the day the game reached store shelves, and without a doubt this is the best server I have ever played on. The module is wonderful, the DMs are great, and the players are some of the best I have ever seen. If you like great actions, role playing, quests, and influence over the world in which you play, this is the place for you!

This server rules. I have played ono it for over two years, Yes I have looked at others but always play here. It has everything and is player driven. If the players want to change the world and RP it in game they can.

This is the third time I've tried to post here so hopefully it will work this time. Thx to protodoc for whipping me into shape.
I first learned about Raathi when I was looking for a multiplayer experience on the bioware forums. I posted there asking about the world and got an immediate response from Jester, who gave me the kitchen sink.
I've looked at a few other servers out of curiosity since then and have found some that were prettier, and some that had other appeals, but Raathi is like a magnet. There are very bright people playing there, and very creative roleplayers; Raathi is a place where you can take your imagination and let it roam. You WILL meet players who are interesting who are NICE people.
With a second server being added I expect this will only improve.
Does it deserve a perfect 10? Nothing really does except perhaps a day at the beach with a good book. But until I can get back to the beach more or less permanently (something I am working on) Raathi gets a 10 from me.

What you are wiling to put into it you wil garner from it. This world has no real limitations short of that which cannot be done in the game. The RP is fresh, fun and enjoyable, the world so well crafted it will amaze and the quests are plentiful and well thought out. Jester cares well for his brain child and brings it to life so well it will sweep you away. It is heavily addictive and you will enjoy every minute you spend crafting your character into a storyline with depth and fun. Join us for chicanery and enjoyment!

Raathi is perhaps the best server I have ever played. It is truly equal, though i'm thinking above, the best Roleplaying server I have ever played in Neverwinter Nights. The DM's are incredible, and the creator, Jester, is one of the best, most friendly person I have ever met within the game. His thoughts come second to the players thoughts, as he has shown time and time again throughout his selfless acts. He wants the perfect world envisioned by the players, and he wants the perfect world envisioned by him. Luckily, his perfect world is what the player's want, so he gives it to the,. This is absolutely the most fun you will find on Neverwinter Nights in Roleplaying, and it's a definite must try. I must warn, though, you may get addicted over the course of a few hours of exploring.

Average area builds. Not much in the way of DM quests, despite claims. Heavier than average empahsis on evil. This might be a good server for someone to get started on and learn the ropes of PW play. Either you will get along just fine here or you won't.

This world is truly a gem among the others. The players are friendly, the DM staff is very active and the balance is near perfect between Fighting and RP. This is the first server in which my character from PnP has been able to truly shine and I recommend it highly.

Fantastic server, great for beginners and veterans alike. High quality roleplay and a beautiful, dynamic, world. Player interaction is constantly growing, and the world has a thriving community. Wonderful people and an all-around great time. I highly recommend at least checking it out some time, and hopefully become more involved and join the world.

This is quite probably the most addictive PW I've ever played on and the only one that I've stuck with for more than a month.
I've only played on Raathi for a couple of days, but I must say I'm having a GREAT time! I've seen very few PW's where the community is as pleasant and helpful as this one. That makes all the difference...more than the beautifully designed areas (which this has) and the great roleplaying elements (which this has, as well). The PEOPLE and DM's of this PW are wonderful. Thank you very, very much for making such an engaging and entertaining world. =)

I have tried playing on a few other servers and keep coming back to Raathi. The builders care, the players want to RP (as opposed to constantly hacking, slashing, etc). It is truly a place where players will get out of it what they put into it.

Raathi is a rich world, with sooooo much to do, and the players are some of the best RPers i've ever had the pleasure of playing with. It is a new home for my trademark character, and i cannot see why anyone would want to be anywhere else. Come give it a try, you won't leave i promise *evil laugh...muahahahahahahahahaha*

This world is very friendly, easy to get into and easier to get immersed in. Jester is a workaholic with his creation. The Dm's are accessible the rules are begginer friendly. The roleplay is very passionate. The server is also very stable, with crashes and corrupted characters almost unheard of. Trolls and fun haters are not tolerated and dealt with swiftly. The Raathi module is definately worth playing. It's main city Sanctuary is a marvelous starting point that will seduce you to stay.
