Mielikki had looked down on Toril, and found no place for her animals. Saddened that only one species could rule in this universe, She created a pocket realm for Her other children, and granted them thought and sentience. She could not spend Her time on this realm, for the rest of creation demanded all of Her, so She sealed the realm off, to give the denizens a chance to evolve on their own.
Eons have passed, and Mielliki is forgotten by all, but other gods have risen to take Her place.
I've always enjoyed D&D, and I've always like the Anthropomorphic animations and such, from TMNT to Disney's multitude of movies. I've never seen a good mix of D&D for folks wanting to play this kind of genre mix, so I'm working it out myself.
The basic idea is that if you can have the various races of humanoids, why not try it with animals?
*note* after extracting the downloads, all the .hak files go under your NWN\hak folder. The only exception is in the heads download. The files in the override folder from that download should be placed in your NWN\override directory

does it still exist? i cant find it....if it has been taken down...do you still have the module? if so i would love to work on i some and maybe host it again
I really would rather not think that this server died. I never even got a chance to go and explore it. I wonder if it would be possible to get in contact with the creators and such.
BTW, the friggin annoying hackers are getting to be a bother through-out the NET as of lately, what a terrible tragedy they would attack this server instead of something bigger, better, and more fun to wreak havoc on like ALFA. _________________________ @===============================================@

I joined the forum, and want to join the server, since I've been kind of server-deprived ever since the two that I frequented got the plug pulled on them. I was server-less! But now I think I found a new home...
Oh, is it okay to post questions on the Server's forum? I ask only because there's only one category on there.
Rather impressive, I must say. It's nice to have alternatives to what amounts to a mostly High Fantasy selection of servers. After all, variety is the spice of life!
(Now if only somebody would make a Firefly PW...)

Bleh, Ign is playing with my mind. Anonymous(65.216--) are the kind of people you'll have to expect popping into your server and ruining roleplay. Had it happen plenty of times. Anyway, as you can see, I've already registered to your 'guild' and I look forward to playing with/along. I've got a pack for female gnoll models, just a simple override for one of the regular male gnoll models, but the 3d model needs to be edited a little because it's far too angular and looks... strange. I'd edit it myself, but -- as I am in the process of moving currently -- have no internet at home and would have to do all the 3d work with my school's less then satisfactory facilities (for 3d art anyway). Keep me up to date on what's going on.
With the new 1.67 scripting functions (getting and setting body parts), our dev team has decided to go ahead and upgrade. Natch. I'd go ahead and modify your personal copies of those for patch 1.67, but keep the server on 1.66 until the patch is released as a full product. Do a service to those players who also play elsewhere.
As soon as I modify the furry mech hak for patch 1.67, we'll be back up. Please not you'll need to download the new furrymech and furry model haks, and you'll need to download the beta 1.67 patch, which means you won't be able to play on servers that don't use it yet. Sounds very interesting, but right now I'm stil trying to get the custom stuff like tails and appearance set up right for a PC . If this project is still up and running I might give it a go once I get my shiz in order.

The purpose of FurryNWN is to server the folks that enjoyed movies such as Disney's Robin Hood, Secret of Nimh, the books of Brian Jacques, and other parts of the fandom. There is a PG-13 rating on the server, and we're quick to act to keep folks from being offensive. If this sounds like something you'd like to try, we welcome you. Think its kinda like saying all gothic people (Im not gothic btw) are screwed up becasue a few drink animal blood and draw pentigrams with it on some stone and sacrifice a goat in it or somethin. Most people I know just think the fashons cool and like with the animal people, I think its kinda cool. Heh, if you like reality stop playing NWN.

I understand how the number of downloads can be a bit daunting. I placed them in smaller, modular files so that if the dev team felt the need to update something, players would not have to download the entire thing all over again. The furrymech will be the file that gets updated most, but since it is the smallest, we didn't feel this would be too great a burden. Looks interesting, but probably too difficult (in terms of hak dl's and rules/info on website) for anyone like myself who would just like to pop in and take a look around. Perhaps I'll investigate at some point in the future when I'm feeling more motivated by the apparent lack of decent worlds to play in.

if you need some models, try to contact ryujin - he´s a big anthro fan, too, and has done some great stuff.
