Death
Some XP and gold loss occurs, but combat loss is not known as "death". A character loses consciousness and lies on the field of battle until revived by a cleric or scroll, or else they can respawn into a healers according to their faction. At the healers, the character suffers a strength penalty until they recover. This is to ensure a character�s death is a dramatic event rather than just an ordinary occurrence. A special combat resolution occurs at the end of character versus character conflict.

A completely unique land and history awaits you as you explore Cyrendell. Diverse nations send diplomats, spies, soldiers and heroes to protect their resources, or to acquire more.
Available to players are: factions and guilds, a custom crafting system, mining and fishing, custom feats and classes, new spells, treasure chest system and a world rich in things you�ve never seen before. The developers and DMs are very open to the effects the players have on the world and will often reflect them in the module. Players have great influence on the world through their RP.
Many different types of quests: DM-staged events occuring often, standard NPC quests, and even custom quests given by NPCs but involving other player characters. The latter type is unique to Twilight Legacy and promotes roleplay throughout the playerbase.
Items break or degrade with time. Reliance on other players is suggested. XP is limited per hour. New players are very welcome and help is available through a special system. XP accelerated for beginning levels, then gradually tapers off.

This is absolutely the most amazing server I have played, and I got around a lot during the downtime when we lost our forums. The DMs are incredible, the players friendly, and the atmosphere great for both RP and hack/slash, whatever your preference. I love you guys.

We'll be rolling out our treasure chest system by July 29th 2006. Find maps, decypher using the Cartography feat, dig up your treasure chest and loot it - if you can. Fun for all levels since there are 3 levels of treasure. Come and have fun with us!

Lots I could say for this world, but playing in it for a few hours will make up your mind far better than my words could. Quality design, great staff, and many high caliber RP'rs. An easy place to call home,...I shall :)

The biggest appeal to this world is the quality of RP from the player base. If you�re looking for RP, you should check this server out, it's likely you wont find another with such a creative and skilled player base.

Easily the best NWN world I've played in. There is a huge amount of content, the world is detailed and complex. There is a custom crafting system for players to make their own items, and while there is never a Desperate lack of gold, the balance is such that no one ever has mountains of it either. The player base is very mature. Good role playing is rewarded on a vote from the community monthly. Some special skins exist of rare and magical races for exceptional RP'rs. The DM's walk a fine balance between creating new content, chasing down bugs, preventing exploiting, and throwing events. The DM's are friendly and available, and genuinely listen and care to the concerns of the player base.

I have visited a lot of NWN PWs and this is the only one that has held my interest for any length of time. The players are a close knit group but are very welcoming ot new players. Much of the RP on the world is created by the players and supported by the DMs rather then being led by DMs. It makes for a world that you feel that your character can mold and effect. That is the key to the excellence of this particular place.

I have played with the people on this server for approximately 2 + years and have never felt the inclination to leave.
The DM's listen to players and events are run on a regular basis and are not only interesting but are also challenging. New areas are always being developed.
