Description
Raathi is a unique roleplaying experience. It's structure is designed to insure that the creative talents of the players are used to the fullest to make a rich and lively world. The Dm staff is rotational and voted on from the players periodically. Changes in server rules are also voted on. Characters are encouraged to participate in the guilds and councils that decide the fate of the free peoples. Dm quests are designed to enrich the atmosphere of the world.
The roleplaying is intense and involving. The world is large with 400-500 areas. The setting is Jester's vision of a bleak world where the forces of humans and demi humans struggle to survive against all odds.
Raathi prides itself on having the right balance between anything goes and overstrict rules. Fun is first here. Providing players with a creative outlet is second. The community is close and friendly.

This is the best server I have played on yet. This ever changing server (the world evolves depending on the actions of the players) hosts a multitude of players with wild imaginations and great role-playing skills. I am proud to be a part of it.

The World of Raathi is a fantastic place to play NWN. There is an existing player base that are loyal to the server and a great staff running the show (DMs, Builders, etc.) This is a world where what your character does actually matters.

Its been my privilege to run Raathi for over three years now, and watch as it grows and develops. The greatest thing about this world, from my perspective, is that it really does evolve with its players -- a player from Raathi three years ago would be in for a real suprise if they returned today. Since the beginning of our world, cities have risen and fallen, the powers that be created or destroyed, all by the actions of the characters who populate the world. Raathi has shaped itself around those who play in it, the actions of characters today will change the land forever, fading into the stories and history of the world, eventually becoming the myth that future generations of characters will dream about.
I created Raathi in neverwinter nights to bring my vision of this unique world to the masses, to provide today's roleplayers with something new and exciting, something both deep and fast paced, both entirely immersive yet still retaining the light-hearted "just for fun" attitude which all games need. I created Raathi so that others could enjoy, and help shape, a dreamworld I've had locked up in my crazy noggin for too long.
Raathi is a place where you can let your imagination run wild, a place where you can let yourself become swept up in the moment, a place where you can always be on the edge of your seat, wondering what might happen next. Raathi is a place for laughter, for jokes, for for revelry and merrymaking, yet too it is a place for somber moments, for tears, for loss, for anger and fury, for revenge. Raathi is a place to immerse yourself in, to create a character and let them truly live and breathe, to feel the sun upon their backs in the open fields, or suck in the damp air of forgotten tombs.
But what is Raathi not? Raathi is not a place for paperwork, login and roll up a character, you need no applications or forms. Raathi is not a place for bitterness, let the conflict remain with your characters, for at the end of the day, every player in the community is here for one reason: to have fun. Raathi is not a place for action gamers, there are other servers for that. Raathi is not a place for those who dont wish to be entirely immersed in a complex world, as rich in culture as it is in peoples.
True, this is an advertisement, I don't try to hide it, but I hope the passion comes across in my words, for I truly am passionate about this world I've created, and I invite you to come share that passion, I invite you to let Raathi come alive for you, as you let your character come alive for us.
