Brave warriors and pious priests comb ancient Netherese caverns with their nimble rogue and crafty wizard companions. A horde of orcs sits poised in the Spine of the World, ready to pounce on a ripe northern civilzation ready for the plunder. Wizards from the Hosttower of the Arcane in Luskan plot to bring down the Confederation of the Silver Marches and replace it with their own form of government.
Welcome to the Legacy of Netheril, a Neverwinter Nights Persistent World set in the Silver Marches and based upon the 3rd Edition D&D setting! Using material from various sources we have developed this module to be as accurate as reasonably possible, and we hope you enjoy it.
This module's scope of area covers the land from Yartar to the Lurkwood, and from Anauroch to Delimbyr Vale. From rolling hills to swampy marshes to deep forests to frigid mountains, a variety of villains and monsters stand ready to challenge your character.

Just as something of a public service announcement, LoN, is at this time in closed beta while the team works out PRC 3.0, CEP 2.0, and Moon rebuilds the modules with NESS. Although the Silver Marches' beautiful landscapes in The Legacy of Netheril is all that is needed to sway me, I should comment on the community.
They're a lovely bunch, players, DMs, builders, never had a problem with one, and each & every one has shown brilliance in their ability to work together. For me, that is what differs a module from a magnificant server.

Custom armor, custom weapons, custom fighting styles, custom monsters, custom tiles, custom treasure drops... this world has it all! The maps will take your breath away from the snowy mountain tops of the Ice Spires... through the murky Evermoors... to the deep dark High Forest. Tame the wild North hand in hand (and sometimes blade to blade) with fantastic players and imaginative DMs!
