Description
"Gothos - City of Shadows" is an adult based, roleplay module. It has a predominantly urban setting, and most of the adventures and plots will be based on what could happen in a fantasy based city environment.
Basically, if it can happen in a city, it can happen in Gothos. Gangs, murders, prostitutes, espionage, and drugs are among the darker side of things, while vigilantes, guard based plots, and temple interaction fall into the realm of things for good players to do.
There will few limits placed by the DM's on who and what your character can be in this setting. Society will dictate if you can survive here or not. If you make a serial killer, dont expect to get away with it for long... you will be hunted down and executed for your crimes.
Keep an open mind playing on Gothos... and dont do anything you wouldnt want done to you.

Wow.
Just wow.
I haven't played much yet, but from the forums, I can see there is awesome work and thought in there. Gothos got its own religion, its own world, its own everything.
I haven't had the chance to meet any of the DMs yet the the RP I've had so far with other players was nice and I love the atmosphere of the city.
Can't wait to get involved more!

A well thought out gameworld which is dark, gritty and believeable. The DMs here are amazing... just bring a character and they will find challenging storylines and situations to suit them. A great place for new and experienced players alike. I am an old PnP gamer but I am new to NWN. I tried three "top rated" PW's before I stumbled onto Gothos. This place is head and shoulders above any of them.
Simply put, the DMs are fair and a blast to game with and the player base is growing with a unique collection of characters to adventure with... in my opinion you can't ask for much more.

Great stuff...a lot of custom stuff here that really adds atmosphere to the playing. There's a lot of opportunity for character story advancement, and the world seems much more interactive than most other places I've been. As with every place, there's room for improvement, but the great thing is that improvement is almost always happening. 10+ _________________________ No.

This server is awesome, Penguin, Minion, and Drake are all great guys who know how to make every log on a blast. I love them all to death for what they have done with this server and I honestly think this world they have created has limitless possiblities. The RP is "very" good and mature and everyone keeps the game play fun and refreshing. I've been looking for years for a server like this one, and I'm glad I've finaly found it. Within one week of being up, there have been more players on then there ever were at the old server from which this one was split off from. The reason I think is the DM's. A+ guys, keep up the great work =D

I am a DM at Gothos... Its new, but already we have a nice player base of quality RPers and a huge, versatile selection of areas to explore, enemies to fight, and most importantly, people to meet. Well, we have been online for 24 hours now, and things are going pretty good. We are getting quite a bit of new traffic, and I am enjoying the RP with all the players.
