As the title suggests, this is a reworking of Elesias's Underdark v1.9. There are many small changes and improvements (that will be listed in detail further down) and one major change. Originally it was a grouping of retextured Mines and Caverns and City Exterior tilesets. Unfortunately this caused many conflicts (ex: different water height and minimap colors) so I split them back up into two tilesets (both included in this HAK) with many of the 'groups' available in both.
Changes: Split HAK into two tilesets. Removed grass walking sounds from tiles. Enabled custom door originally designed by Elesias but not normally available. Added a few missing textures. Rotated 'Cave Entrance' door transition 90 degrees to have it face the correct direction (this is an error in the original City Exterior set). Shared many of the groups in both sets. ex: many of the Underdark City Exterior buildings are available in the Underdark Mines and Caverns. Removed the portraits and placeables from the HAK to reduce size. Added minimap textures to both tilesets as appropriate. Only Targa images used in textures(usable by all video cards). If there is a demand for a larger high quality version, I may post a version with both Targa and DDS files.
And on a side note, this HAK is compatable with M. G. Skaggs's MGS Egyptian Crypt V2 tileset (since both are being used in my next project). 1.01 Changes: Updated doortypes.2da and loadscreens.2da for SoU compliance. 1.02 Changes: Fixed 'missing' texture, removed a stray grass walking sound form a tile.
This looks good, I have got HotU, but I think this may give a differnet view on it, as HotU only has buildings that are different to city tilesets, and absolutely no fountains.
I'm sure drow like fountains just as much as the next person! :P

Only giving a 4.0 because I've spent 3 days just trying to find a file that maybe could have been included in the Midnight module dl file? Yes? Sounds like a good idea to me... _________________________ shut up, listen, THEN ask questions

If it's part of a module I've played, you better believe it deserves a vote. As a Macintosh user who knows nothing about the toolset, scripting, or programming, the score is 10 on default. :) _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

So far, every person who has had any problems downloading stuff, the problem has been on their end and not NWVault. My best suggestion would be to get a download helper application like GetRight.

Just downloaded and unzipped it without any problems. Have you had any problems with other downloads from this site? You are the only person that has reported this issue.

Hey, every time I tried downloading this hak, the zip file would not open. Windows says the archive is damaged or corrupt. Please fix this, I need this hak to play Midnight, I hear it's awesome.
