ERINYES HAKPAK (Based on Bioware's Succubus model) v0.9.1 (Old version) by Magma
This was an old model of the Erinyes I made, using the succubus as a template and designed to look like the excellent illustration by DiTerlizzi. The wings were modelled from scratch and animated, as wings were not added to NWN at the time. Since then the 3.5e Monster Manual has been released, and I have made a new model to incorporate the new appearance and the available wing options.
I will no longer be supporting this version in favour of my newer one. However, I leave it here in case anyone needs some half-bird-woman model for any purpose. It currently has SOU+HOTU 1.61 appearance and portrait 2da files, but it should work on all versions.

Nice one but the wings are a little bit too great :P

I actually prefer this model over the new version you made...2ED erinyes always look better, and much more appropriate.;)

hey this is great. I kinda needed a lawful good devil. go figure
hey I'v wanted to make D&D compliant creatures for awhile but can't find a D&D guide anywhere (I live in southend in england, which contains NOTHING. were lucky to have a book store). Does anyone know if there's an online resource or something I can look for?

Another winner Magma, top notch work. Keep those devils and demons coming...

There's a lot of mythology that has been taken into D&D and remoulded. Erinyes in D&D also avenge insults against Baator, which may be the link between D&D Erinyes and the spirits of Greek myth that avenged transgressions of law against society. A few other Baatorian recyclings for anyone that's interested:
-Lemures (A Lemure is a Lesser Baatezu) is Latin for a spirit of the dead.
-Avernus (1st Layer of Baator) was a lake through which you could gain entrance to Hades.
-Dis (2nd Layer) was another name for the god of Hades (Also called Hades).
-Phlegethon (Phlegethos is the 4th layer, continually burning) was a flaming river in Hades.
-Stygian (Stygia is the 5th) means "Of the river Styx", which was a river that flowed through Hades (And also through the lower planes in D&D)
Oddly, the plane of Hades in D&D is two planes over from Baator. Go figure :-)

Gauntlet-Dragon > You're right, but my comment was not meant to be about what is right or wrong, everything is possible after all :) My comment was more like information to those who might care about the original story, thats all :)

CelestalWolf, NWN is based on D&D, and in the D&D Monster Manual the erinyes are the devil versions of succubi. So, you can't call greek mythology correct, because there are many different views upon different creatures, and in D&D an erinyes is a Lawful Evil devil.

I'm not sure where you got that description of the erinyes. Originally they come from the greek mythology, and are often confused with the furies from the roman mythology. In the greek mythology, they were avengers of bloodshed and other crimes. Most people believe that there are 3 Erinyes, Alecto, Megaera and Tisiphone. Tisiphone guards the entrance to Tartarus, the place of punishment in the underworld (and the deepest of abysses). I don't know where the two others are, but at least one of them lives somewhere in the heavens. They are not really demons, but goddesses. Most people say that they have snakes as hair (like medusa?), and poisonuos blood dripping from their eyes, though thats only how sinners see them.
They don't make people commit crimes, they punish those that does, pursuing them even into death if needed, and never leaving them any peace. They punish sinners by driving them mad, and the worst criminals are thrown into Tartarus where they will suffer for all eternity.
Try searching Google for "Erinyes", you will find a lot of different versions of the story, but basically they are all the same. Just thought I would point this out, I'm working on a module where the Erinyes play a very big part of the story, and this hak seems interresting.

@ Magma: Nevermind, got it to work :)
It's still strange... I can't use it as a stand-alone hak, but combined with your cornugon and pitfiend it works :D
It's amazingly good work (just like the other two Baatezu)!

Yay! I was hoping for Erinyes. I think it would be better if you could release a model without wings, as they are gaudy and I don't like them. Now we can have some nice demon vs devil catfights!

Magma, she looks great!
Just like DiTerlizzi in 3D :)

Kendaric - I've downloaded the Hak from this site, and deleted than replaced all the files - I'm not having any problems. Are you using v1.30 yet? SOU isn't out here yet so I can't absolutely verify that it works with it yet. It can't be a corrupted Hak Pak, or the zip would fail a CRC check. If the Hak was missing, the toolset would not open the module. I can't think what could be wrong.
Sciborg2 - The Cornugon, Pit Fiend and Erinyes all use the same resource slots in appearance.2da and portraits.2da. To fix this:
Copy the line with the custom creature/portrait in it from the 2da files in each separate Hak Pak.
Paste each one into a different user-marked line in a single 2da (created from 2da files in the "Source" folder).
Renumber the entries.
It is my fondest hope that I will at some point in the future do this - "baatezu.hak" might be a good name :-)

For some reason the erinyes don't show up. Neither in the Demo module nor in any test module I made.
Screenshot looks nice!
@ NIZ renaming a .mdl file is really easy. Just extract the mdl and texture files (tga and dds) to a new folder. Open the mdl file in a texteditor and replace all instances of the old name with your new and click save. Then rename the file itself and rename the texture file.
The best texteditor to do this is "Textpad", you can find it with google or any other search engine.

My Bad. I thought the last ebtry in the appearence.2da was for the erinyes. It was farther up in the list.
