I've had several requests to repackage my Conan music hak, for use in other modules. Well, here it is. This hakpack contains the Conan the Barbarian soundtrack, to be used as ambient music, complete with two choices of combat themes. The file is a self-extracting exectutable that will place all the necessary files where they belong. Just run the .exe, import the hak into your module, and choose your ambient music from the regular list. NOTE - THIS HAKPACK IS FOR BUILDERS TO ADD TO THEIR MODULES. THIS IS NOT THE COMPLETE CONAN HAK USED IN MY HYBORIAN AGE SERIES OF MODS. Enjoy, and hey, give me a plug if you use it, eh?
New fix uploaded July 16th--- Regrettably, I guess I left out the combat music files on the first version. As of July 16th, 2003, the hak is complete. Sorry about that...
The question remains: If you have the Temple of the Spider God hack and music already in the proper folders is there anything new in this hack that is required to play other modules like Conan - A Cimmerian Tale?MikeLM9215 _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.

*takes hat off* Well my friend this is great! The quality of the sound is impressive and was easy to get up and running with your Auto-Install system. Thanks again, I appreciate your contribution to the NWN society...

----and I'd love to either eventually see or create a "Conan module", ----
You do know that this hak is from a Conan module, right? Look up Hyborian Age 1 - Temple of the Spider God...

I worship Crom. I know he is the one true god because he does not listen!

YES! This Music Hak is an answer to my prayers to Crom, Fear! I've owned both soundtracks ever since I first knew that they existed, and, since I first bought the Barbarian on VHS years ago, I've probably watched it a few hundred times! (Just ask any one of my friends and family!) I barely know the simple basics of Mod-building so far, so I'm mostly playing/learning how to use the Toolset, but since downloading your Music hak, a sweet "custom heads" .2da, and Lady Blood's "Conan sword", I've had no end of fun creating my own version of the Cimmerrian himself, and I'd love to either eventually see or create a "Conan module", using LB's sword Hak, and this Music Hak, that has the player actually play the "King of Thieves"! Whether modelling the mod after the films, or original Howard stories, I'd love to see it done! So, therefore, if any of you "veteran scripters/Modbuilders" out there would be interested in giving me a hand in making a Conan Mod like this, drop me an email so we can get to work! :-) Until then, I'll be watching my DVD copy of "Conan the Barbarian" mouthing along with the dialog, verbatim like I'm known to do, just to keep it fresh in what's left of my noggin!

Well, the soundtrack is now out of print, so we're not hurting their record sales. And I doubt that Conan properties would have a problem with what we're doing. (Simply promoting the Conan mythos)
If they don't like it, they're more than welcome to take it down. Let's just let it roll for now...:)

Feargus -- I have the "Conan the Barbarian" and "Conan the Destroyer" CD's and I love the idea of using Conan music in a hak for a module. Despite what is said on the web, it is not easy to convert the files over so I really appreciate what you have done.
That said, by making this copyrighted material publicly available I strongly suspect you are opening yourself up to a world of legal hurt in the same way that file share individuals and providers are at risk.
